I have oily skin. Washed my face with this and felt clean, smooth and pores felt tighter afterwards. Smelt lovely! I have read negative reviews of this product but I absolutely love it!

Breakouts/Acne
I'd absolutely recommend this cleanser it smells gorgeous and is very refreshing, perfect for someone with very oily skin such as myself and doesn't dry out the skin at all and a tiny bit goes a ling way so one tube will last a while, have only been using this for about a month along with the toning lotion and the results are fabulous, had no breakouts for the whole month i have used these two products, anybody thinking of buying i would fully recommend :)

Excessive Dryness
As it's quite pricey, I'm glad that you only need a pea size amount to clean the whole face and neck. It also washes off quickly even using only cold water. Been using it for the last couple of years and generally happy with it. The only disadvantage that it dries my oily skin too much so I always have to use moisturizer afterwards.

Breakouts/Acne
Having used this cleanser for over a month now I will sadly not be using it again. I was recommended this product for my oily skin by a clarins counter. In no was has it helped my oily skin. After cleansing I'm left with tight skin which thankfully my toner and moisturizer sorts out but also I have had a major breakout of spots on my forehead. If you do have oily skin I would recommend going for a very light cleanser and not one that says targets oily skin as I think these just strip the skin.

Sensitivity
I have been using the Tamarind gentle foaming cleanser for years and years - having extremely sensitive, oily skin, it was perfect. This new replacement is awful - the product feels slimy and my skin doesn't feel clean! It's still called gentle foaming cleanser but doesn't foam at all! It really is so disappointing. I bought 2 of the new version without realising it had changed and now I'm stuck with them. The only half-way good thing is the smell! So after years of using Clarins cleanser, I'm going to have to look elsewhere :-(
