Take The Day Off Makeup Remover

5 out of 5 stars.

Breakouts/Acne

Age 25 to 34

Fair

As far as makeup removers go, this takes the cake; this has been the only makeup remover I've tried that can break down mascara and get rid of all that eye-liner. This is OIL BASED, so yes it will feel oily on the skin, but that's what really gets in to dissolve very stubborn makeup. To prevent smearing I like to dab a moistened cotton pad over my eyes then let it soak in a bit before wiping away with short gentle strokes. It's not designed to be a serum so follow up with a deep cleanse and enjoy your makeup free face.

Excessive Oiliness

Medium

This product does not 'remove' my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. It is so oily that it smears black all over my eyes and temple/cheek area. Then I have to use a bunch of cotton pads to try and wipe off the residue but it takes so long to remove the oil.

Enlarged Pores

Light

This product is effective at removing stubborn and waterproof eye make up but it leaves an oily residue after use which is a bit annoying as I need to go over it with micellar water or a make up wipe. I didn’t hate it, it’s not my absolute favourite because of the residue and therefore I don't really use it often.

Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

5 out of 5 stars.

Breakouts/Acne

Age 25 to 34

Fair

I've previously bought the elemis balm cleanser and bought a sample size of the clinique to compare. It holds up really well, more of a balm the melts straight into an oil once applied. It cleanses but leaves my skin feeling smooth and mouistised. A great basic balm clanser and good for those experieminting with this kind of cleanser.

Sun Damage

Age 55 to 64

I have been using Clinique Take The Day Off and l absolutely love it. I have very sensitive eyes and l use waterproof mascara and this product takes the mascara off and doesn’t affect my eyes at all. I wouldn’t use anything else!

Take The Day Off Makeup Remover

Sensitivity

Age 18 to 24

Olive

I absolutely love this makeup remover. It breaks down my eyeliner and mascara so well without casing irritation. My main issue before this product was finding a makeup remover that didn't irritate my eyes. Being an oil based makeup remover, it does leave behind a little bit of residue but this just made my skin feel so soft.

All About Clean Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser

1 out of 5 stars.

Sensitivity

Age 25 to 34

Light

This is the worst face cleanser ive ever used , it completely strips your skin and destroys skin barrier, it smells like pure soap and its like back when i was younger and used a bar of soap on my face and you get that really stripped tight feeling its extremely foamy. My face felt clean but completely destroyed wouldnt even use this for super oily skin. Its just a bad brand belongs next to clean and clear in the supermarket

Clinique

All About Clean Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

1 out of 5 stars.

Breakouts/Acne

Medium

This product has helped my skin to stay clear without stripping my natural oils. As a beauty therapist, I was concerned about using a ‘soap’ on my skin but this is actually really good.
