This oil cleanser is just OK. I used it for my two-step cleansing routine for a few months. I wouldn't recommend using this alone as a cleanser because of how oily it was, the makeup just smeared over my face in the sticky oil. It helped loosen the makeup but I had to follow it up with a foaming cleanser to get everything off. The texture is very much like vaseline. There are many other cleansers that remove makeup easier. For the price, it seemed like a low-quality product with cheap ingredients. Also, Drunk Elephant is an unethical company so I regret buying this.

I bought this on recommendation from one of the Mecca staff after sharing my skin concerns and frustrations at removing waterproof makeup. It’s incredibly hydrating, cuts through makeup very quickly and is a great face cleanser in the mornings

It’s a good gentle cleanser, but maybe a little too gentle. Definitely feels like I need to double cleanse with this even when not wearing make up. Smells nice though and doesn’t sting the eyes.

I purchased this a few weeks ago as my skin barrier has been really dry during the winter months and i wanted to try a more hydrating cleanser. It definitely delivers on that side of things! I don't double cleanse after using this either and it doesn't leave that tight feeling you get when using some other cleansers. Also it hasn't caused me to break out at all. So I would definitely recommend this and the magnet spoon it comes with is genius.

Loved the sample so bought this and unfortunately should’ve taken note of other reviews as the formula seems to leave a greasy residue on the skin. I now feel the need to gel cleanse and exfoliate as well. Should’ve stuck with Clinique - take the day off.

I bought this again in December last year. The previous time I used it in 2020 I had similar results but only recognised what was happenening after researching some side effects and a very similar experience from my sister. My skin got over all weaker although it looked hydrated it was constantly getting infected and I couldn’t seem to understand why with a pretty clean diet and regular hormones/stress level. It seemed to give me many micro pimples often in close proximity and my skin barrier and acid mantle (after a dermatologist visit) was completely broken down. Big warning. Would never recommend will cost a lot to repair my skin. And I’m disappointed because I was a big fan of the range but I have seen that some people try to discuss with the D.E. brand and there is little feedback. Do not buy this cleanser if you are predisposed to sensitive or acne skin. Actually I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I would say shop the other products at mecca.
