Great product that helps with breakouts. Bit pricey but seems to last a long time

Was looking for a specific cleansing oil to try out but it was out of stock in-store and the lovely SA recommended me this balm and another cleanser. I've never used a balm before but now I really look forward to cleansing my skin each evening. A little goes a long way and it feels very hydrating. Love the little spatula and its click mechanism (such a great idea!) so you'll never lose it

I’ve been using this for 2.5 weeks and already it’s made a huge difference. I have combination skin that’s very sensitive (we’re talking swollen eyelids and contact dermatitis here) and the oily parts are super oily, so at first I was sceptical because a) this is an oil-based product and b) you use water to activate it (which I didn’t realise until I bought it) so figured it would mean some kind of foaming agent which would make me break out. I am so glad to be wrong because it’s so good!! It seeps right into my skin for a deeper cleanse (which is brilliant because my sebaceous filaments could have their own postcode) but it’s so gentle it leaves my skin feeling soft, supple and - most importantly for me - a nice matt sheen. Also I can use around my eyes no problem which is just huge for me and my oily lids like, I can wear mascara without it smudging now. This is huge. Plus no fragrance, which I appreciate, and it’s really great in combination with the AHA and the retinol I also bought because it doesn’t dry me out before I put them on (look at me sounding like an expert - this is my first time in 30-odd years using retinol). So yeah, we’ll worth the $$, a little bit goes a long way and will definitely be buying again.

This is my 3rd time repurchasing this. I remember the first time I used it I thought it was too heavy, however it is perfect for the first cleanse taking off makeup, sunscreen and everything else - then following after with a cleanser. I think because it is nice and buttery too it doesn’t make your skin dry like it can get with double cleansing with your regular face wash. After finishing 2 of these repurchases, I thought I’d try the Clinique balm and it was just terrible. It did not get off any eyeliner so I had no confidence it would truly get off my makeup. This one gets off eyeliner and mascara in a heartbeat. I think the magnetic spatula is a fantastic feature so you aren’t using your hands to dip in. My first was purchased in September 2020, second purchased in August 2021 and I am just purchasing another one now awaiting for it to come, April 2022 (I still have more left in my other one but just ordered now for when it runs out). So basically they last for 1 year which is crazy now I look back on the dates! I also use quite a decent amount more than I probably need to, I also use it every night and that’s how long they last. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Excessive Dryness

This is one of the most moisturising balm cleansers I've used. It's really effective at removing my make up (full coverage and nonhwaterproof mascara) and easily washes off in the shower. I'd highly recommend to anyone with dry skin or wanting to try balm cleansers. Only downside is that there isn't a nicer smell to it. Not that it's offensive, it just smells like an oil based product.

I am on to about my 4th tub of this. I love it, a little goes a long way. It melts your makeup off, even waterproof eye makeup. And it leaves your skin feeling very soft and hydrated. I also love the magnetic scoop so you don't have to get your fingers in there to a scoop it out, and it attaches to the lid when not using it. It comes with a separate exfoliant which is great as you can add it when needed.

I absolutely love this cleansing balm. It’s so easy to use. Melts my makeup off in one go. Definitely will be using this instead of micellar water or makeup wipes
