Emma Lewisham

Illuminating Oil Cleanser

5 out of 5 stars.

Enlarged Pores

Fair

I'm an oily gal so tend to steer clear of oil cleansers... this has converted me! My skin is clear and clean and gorgeous. I was away for a week and forgot to bring the cleanser and really noticed the difference.. will be repurchasing for sure!

Emma Lewisham

Illuminating Oil Cleanser

2 out of 5 stars.

Dullness

Fair

I've been using this for about a month and am comparing it to Meccas own oil cleanser and Bare Minerals oil cleanser. This has a similar consistency to Meccas formula and it does smell pretty much like neat grape seed oil, as I think another reviewer mentioned. Personally I find the Bare Minerals cleanser better, it has a lighter consistency (better if you have oily skin like me), has a more neutral fragrance and does not sting my eyes (when I accidentally get it in my eyes, not putting it in my eyes on purpose!). Meccas formula also won't sting your eyes, Emma Lewishams formula will. Overall, I think you could easily swap this out for Meccas brand and you wouldn't notice the difference. Once I'm finished with this Emma Lewisham oil cleanser I will likely switch back to Bare Minerals.
