Obviously people LOVE this product given the number of rave reviews out there. I bought a small jar to try. I usually use an oil cleanser so I liked the oily texture of the Eve Lom. As someone else has pointed out, I worried about the product being mainly mineral oil which is not great for the skin. I did find this was a great deep cleanse and I didn't break out at all. The muslin cloth gives a great exfoliation at the same time.I gave the Eve Lom a trial for a full 7 day period, using it exactly as the instructions state. I have combo skin with open pores in the Tzone. By the end of the week my pores were clean and skin soft, but the pores were noticeably BIGGER and MORE pronounced and I developed open pores on my cheeks which I had never had before. I hardly ever wear make up, but will save the Eve Lom for those occasions where I need an effective make up remover (as I think it is excellent at this). Otherwise I'll stick to my old cleanser to keep my pore size down.

Having used many cleansers over the years, I was interested in the hype surrounding this slightly unusual method of an oil based cleanser and muslin cloth.I have to say I have been more than pleasantly surprised and totally converted!The product is a thick consistency that spreads luxuriously over your face, and has an invigorating aroma of natural oils. After a little massage in, the use of the muslin cloth and hot water feels like a facial every night.My skin feels clean, refreshed and exfoliated and my senses calmed.Having spent years looking for the easiest and quickest way to cleanse at night, I am now totally addicted to the extra minute it takes to complete this routine. Try it, you won't look back.

This product is without a doubt the best cleanser I have ever used. The philosophy behind Eve Lom's product is that thorough cleansing is the key to good skincare. Each night after applying this product, and using the muslin cloths to remove it, my skin feels like it has not one scrap of make up or daily grime left on it. The effect is almost instantaneous, but after only a week, my skin looked and felt better after cleansing than it did previously with make up on.Although it is pricey, it lasts forever and it is so worth it to make your skin glow.I could not recommend this product more.

I was told by a friend of mine to try this particular product. So that same day I went to Robina Town Centre to the Mecca store there and went straight for it, I sampled it, wasnt to convinced but I brought it anyhow. Went home and tried it that night..ohh my freakin goodness, I immediatley fell in love with this product, and after 3 weeks of using it, my skin is smoother, feels so much cleaner and i know the difference when I dont use it. I love it I really do and when you pay money for something that actually works and you absolutely love you dont care how much it costs because the way you feel and your skin feels after you use Eve Lom Cleanser its worth every cent..

I got this as a sample when i went in for a make-up session which was purchased on a whim with a friend. I now have the full range and do not ever plan on changing products.The cleanser is amazing, a bit scary at first cause it feels kinda greasy but once you use it you will never go back.

I bought this product two months ago and have seen no difference in my skin. Due to the price I was expecting it to work wonders on my skin. It cleanses makeup and moisturises skin well but not to the quality reflecting through the brand and price of the product. I would not say that it worth the money nor is it that much better than my grocery store Cetaphil. Another thing to take into consideration is the bitter scent, some of the people I know love this smell but I do not. I will not be repurchasing.

I seem to be in the minority with my opinion on this product but it is without question the worst skin care/makeup product I’ve ever used. I used it for about a week and within a day or two I started to develop the most painful horrific cystic acne and little bumps all over my face. I suffer from the occasional hormonal breakout on my chin but never had anything even closely resembling what I suffered with this. I ended up seeing a doctor who told me to stop using immediately. The acne stopped appearing (new breakouts) but it took I’d say about 2 months to completely clear. I still have a scar from one of them. I didn’t use any other new products before during or after - only this and as soon as I stopped it my skin started improving. I wanted to love it due to all the great reviews but this was a massive fail for me. my racialist said mineral oil which is in this product can often have this affect on sensitive skin. So please be careful if your skin is even slightly sensitive.

I’ve tried to love this, but I just can’t. I bought it after reading the glowing reviews, but it just doesn’t work for me. It has a really strong smell which I don’t enjoy and I find it so oily that I definitely have to use another cleanser to get rid of the oily residue left on my skin. I also find my pores get even bigger with this! I was expecting a cleanser that was an all in one, but I could only ever see it as part one of a two step cleanse.

I was super excited to try this product and was expecting to love due to the reviews.It feels so luxurious while using it, it’s velvety and melts on to your skin and really does feel spa-like. But that’s where it ended for me. Within 2-3 washes my skin exploded into tiny bumps/ pimples ALL OVER my face. It was like a rash of pimples! I’m not prone to breaking out so I was horrified to say the least.I do tend to have sensitive skin sometimes, it’s not common but it does happen occasionally, so I’m guessing it just didn’t agree with me.
