I received a 30ml sample of this product (with a muslin cloth) and it is certainly a lovely product to use and an excellent cleanser. But I would suggest you try it for yourself to decide if it's right for you. While I have not become an Eve Lom convert just yet, I wouldn't rule it out it in the future. At the moment, I am more concerned about reducing pigmentation and have decided there are other, less expensive, product ranges that better suit my needs. However, despite the cost of this cleanser, I am thinking of buying it for my teenage daughter who has extremely sensitive/combination skin.Pros:A little goes a very long way; it feels divine; gently yet thoroughly cleanses & exfoliates; skin looks radiant after use; no toner required; leaves skin feeling soft; good if you are looking for a simple skin care regimen; even better if you find you don't need to moisturise afterwardsCons:Expensive (more so if you are looking to use a range of products from the same brand that will compliment each other); you will need an additional pack of muslin cloths unless you want to be sterilising them every/other day; the additional muslin cloths are over-priced for what they are; too time consuming to use in the morning

I was excited when I received a free sample of this product as I had read great reviews about it and I love oil based cleansers. But I have to say the first time I tried it I wasn't convinced. I didn't like the smell and I found the tiny cloth it came with really hard to use. But then after watching a youtube video about how to use it correctly I gave it another go and started to become impressed. Now after buying a tub with a full size cloth I'm hooked! I even like the smell now! I only use it at night as its great for removing makeup but, as explained to be my Mecca staff, make sure you remove all of it as it contains mineral oil which shouldn't be left on the skin.

First time reviewing a product here. And the reason is that the Eve Lom Cleanser is THAT good. I have very sensitive skin, prone to cystic acne and congestion. This cleanser does a deep clean and leaves my skin so soft and clear.I understand that everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to products. But give it a try. It's honestly the best cleanser I have ever used and I will continue to use.

Eve Lom cleanser has to be the best cleanser I have ever used. I have fair combination skin and it leaves my skin feeling clean, comfortable and soft. There is no need for a seperate eye makeup remover as Eve Lom cleanser is perfect for the eye area as well. It is wonderful to use and I need very little of it which means a 100ml jar lasts me more than 6 months. It has really balanced my combination skin and I need very little moisturiser. I will continue to use the Eve Lom cleanser with the muslin cloth. It is truly a superior product offering great value for money as well.

I was impressed with the enthusiasm of the Mecca team in the store about this cleanser when in Melbourne recently. I liked the philosophy they shared about Eve Lom believing in less products to achieve more and was sold on the idea that this cleanser cleans deeply whilst removing all traces of make up. I was not disappointed. It has a very different feel to other cleansers but it leaves your skin very clean and removes all makeup - even stubborn mascara. I look forward to cleansing at night and it leaves your skin soft with a feeling of moisture remaining.

I have always had trouble with oily skin & sore inflamed acne mostly on my t-zone. Even after almost a year on Roaccutane my skin was better, but certainly not perfect. I was recommended this cleanser in store & have not looked back!! The smell is amazing & it effortlessly removes my make up (including mascara). The face cloth & cleaning ritual is fantastic as my skin is now perfectly balanced & hasn't looked this clear in a decade! I have now purchased another tub as well as the morning cleanser :). It is well worth the money & I find you don't need a lot so a 50mL tub lasts months.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
