I was suffering from breakouts when the girls at Mecca suggest I try this cleanser. I have never looked back!! After a couple of weeks my skin cleared up and I was getting comments on how great it looked. I use it at night and it removes every last shred of makeup and leaves my skin feeling super soft. Cannot live without it

Recently have tried a couple of samples of this. I have oily/combination skin but was experiencing some dryness and flakiness around my nose area with redness. I like quick and easy makeup removal so wasn't sure about the whole routine with the muslin clothes. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I found this really relaxing to do at night, while I am having my bath. I like the smell of the cloves and oranges in the product. It helped to resolve the flakiness and redness around my nose and left my skin feeling super clean but not tight. I am going to purchase the smaller size to use as a treatment once or twice a week and as an alternative to my favourite cleanser, the Bobbi Brown cleansing oil.

This cleanser is just SO glamorous to me...you just WANT the pretty container in the bathroom! Cloves, eucalyptus - it's just this strange concoction that WORKS, that I couldn't care less to analyse why or how it does. From what I read years ago, Eve Lom herself was brought up by her "witch doctor" grandmother, whom she used to fetch medicinal herbs and plants from the garden to heal ailing patients. There is an interesting story behind the brand / founder. A very classy, simplistic and simply beautiful range very deserving of it's cult status. This cleanser is like magic :-).

It removes makeup without struggle, it cleans and exfoliates your skin without drying your face. Great for people with sensitve skin. My face has never felt as clean as when I have used the Eve Lom cleanser. Fantastic.

I bought this product two months ago and have seen no difference in my skin. Due to the price I was expecting it to work wonders on my skin. It cleanses makeup and moisturises skin well but not to the quality reflecting through the brand and price of the product. I would not say that it worth the money nor is it that much better than my grocery store Cetaphil. Another thing to take into consideration is the bitter scent, some of the people I know love this smell but I do not. I will not be repurchasing.

I seem to be in the minority with my opinion on this product but it is without question the worst skin care/makeup product I’ve ever used. I used it for about a week and within a day or two I started to develop the most painful horrific cystic acne and little bumps all over my face. I suffer from the occasional hormonal breakout on my chin but never had anything even closely resembling what I suffered with this. I ended up seeing a doctor who told me to stop using immediately. The acne stopped appearing (new breakouts) but it took I’d say about 2 months to completely clear. I still have a scar from one of them. I didn’t use any other new products before during or after - only this and as soon as I stopped it my skin started improving. I wanted to love it due to all the great reviews but this was a massive fail for me. my racialist said mineral oil which is in this product can often have this affect on sensitive skin. So please be careful if your skin is even slightly sensitive.

I’ve tried to love this, but I just can’t. I bought it after reading the glowing reviews, but it just doesn’t work for me. It has a really strong smell which I don’t enjoy and I find it so oily that I definitely have to use another cleanser to get rid of the oily residue left on my skin. I also find my pores get even bigger with this! I was expecting a cleanser that was an all in one, but I could only ever see it as part one of a two step cleanse.

I was super excited to try this product and was expecting to love due to the reviews.It feels so luxurious while using it, it’s velvety and melts on to your skin and really does feel spa-like. But that’s where it ended for me. Within 2-3 washes my skin exploded into tiny bumps/ pimples ALL OVER my face. It was like a rash of pimples! I’m not prone to breaking out so I was horrified to say the least.I do tend to have sensitive skin sometimes, it’s not common but it does happen occasionally, so I’m guessing it just didn’t agree with me.
