I've been using Eve Lom on and off for over a decade and it really is a brilliant, cult beauty product. It removes make up, doesn't dry skin out or make it too oily, isn't harsh and works as well on teenage skin as more mature - my mum and I both use it.The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it is mineral oil based.

Its true.... you get what you pay for! Most certainly the best face wash I have ever used, this combined with the TLC Moisturiser & Morning Cleanser my face has cleared up completely. I have combination skin & it just really deals with the dryness without being so harsh, smells a bit uh but when you see good results you don't care. Love!

I have been using this cleanser for a few weeks. It is very gentle and it can clean my makeup completely. Comparing to other brands cleansers I used before, this cleanser does not make my skin feel dry at all and it does not block my pores. For winter dry weather condition, this is definately one of the best. However, the amount I use is more than the SA recommended. With less amount, I found it was very difficult to massage and cover the entire face.

I used to use this cleanser and really liked it - it leaves your skin soft and clean, as promised. But after a while I gave it up as I found the whole ritual too time consuming to keep up - when you're tired and just want to fall into bed the last thing you feel like doing is spend ages washing your face.I would recommend it for use in Winter but prefer something a bit more 'refreshing' in Summer.

I've always struggled to find a staple cleanser for my dehydrated skin. I'm often drawn foaming cleansers that leave my face feeling tight and stripped, verging on uncomfortable. I picked this up at the recommendation of one of the ladies at Queensplaza and I have to say it is absolutely a game changer! It's initial gritty balm texture makes it easy to distribute and I really like the way it breaks down as you work it in, giving you time to gently exfoliate before becoming an oil. The muslin cloth is a handy little extra. I need about a 10-20 cent coin sized amount to take off all my makeup, waterproof mascara included.

This is different to other cleansers I've used, as I was used to gel cleansers that lather. This product is like a balm you massage over your skin, and then remove with a warm cloth. Because it is such a gentle product I didn't expect to see major results but I have! My skin feels beautifully fresh and cleansed afterwards, and day to day my skin looks more radiant. I do not use this product in conjunction with the morning cleanser, but plan to.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

Worst breakout with this product after one use. The cloth makes it worse

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
