So obviously, I like everyone else on the planet with a pulse and ears had heard the relentless hype around this product. I resisted for many years as A. I am a contrary so-and-so and B. the idea of the muslin cloth seemed like kind of a pain in the butt to me.Then, one fateful day, I decided to see for myself. It turns out that the muslin cloth is actually a delight and not at all fussy to use, and the cleanser itself really is pretty freakin' awesome. I stand corrected, and am 100% an Eve Lom convert. EVE LOM FOR PM!

I don't really write reviews as it is time consuming and sometimes just enjoy looking through other reviews/comment. But this cleanser is absolutely beautiful, it leaves skin soft, clean and extremely smooth. My favourite and best best cleanser so far.

This is the best cleanser I've ever had. I have a combination skin but can get a bit dehydrated around cheek area. My skin feel so clean and it does give you the healthy glowy skin, and I notice that it's also reduce oil production around my t-zone. I know that some of you might be concern about this product because it has mineral oil, but it is definitely not a problem for my acne prone skin. Defo will repurchase this

It did not suit my skin and started to break out is small bumps all over my face. Also find that the time it took to cleanse my face was too long.

I tried this to see what all the fuss was about and I was very pleased with the results.I really love facial massage so a cleansing balm is a lot nicer than standard face wash or face oils as it lasts on your skin so much longer providing enough slip for a long massage. My skin has been so much softer and smoother but I haven't noticed any reduction in my pore size but I can look past that due to how soft my skin is.Only downside is that sometimes I get tiny spots which must be due to this cleanser as its the only thing I have changed. This cleanser is also amazing at removing makeup so you don't need to pre-cleanse or double cleanse to get the same removal.I also really love the smell but can see why some people are put off by it, its very strong and spicy.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
