It was very kind of the Mecca staff member to offer me a sample of this cleanser, as I've always wanted to try it. Instantly I knew this wasn't for me. I applied a small amount onto my face as the end of the day, and proceeded to massage into my skin and add a small amount of water to emulsify. I didn't like how my skin felt with the product on it. It left a film coating in my eyes, giving me blurred vision. I flushed my eyes with running water to remove the oil layer. It's an ok make up remover.I don't mind oil based cleanser but this felt like a pore-clogging grease. For the price of this product it is very disappointing that a primary ingredient is mineral oil. I wouldn't buy this product. I'd suggest the Nude Skincare Oil Cleanser which smells amazing and leaves your skin soft, nourished and no trace of makeup is left behind or Pixi Cleansing Balm.

Yes this cleanser is pricey, but it is just so good! I can never get enough of the smell - it smells like a luxurious day spa. Leaves skin really clean and glowing. No irritation ever to my extremely sensitive skin that normally cannot handle any fragrance whatsoever.

I have ended up my first jar. It was the best cleanser I've ever used, it (with its muesli cloth) removes all my make up in just 2 - 3 minutes and it leaves my skin smooth, dehydrated without residue. I love my skin each time I use it.Sometimes I got lazy and I just skipped the second cleanser without any dirt and dryness. However, the jar lasts after around 20 times cleansing, so it's a little overpriced. Hence I only use it to remove my make up, not everyday cleanser (I wear make up once - twice a week).I love it but I can't afford it regularly, unfortunately.

This was recommended to me a few years ago when I had some major issues with my skin. I stripped back my routine, was consistent and eventually my skin cleared up. Over the years I have changed the products I used but this cleanser always stayed the same. Two months ago I run out of Eve Lom and think it's time for something new however my skin does not agree and my face has the same issues from years ago.I have repurchased, I love it, my skin is improving already. I know everyone has different issues with their skin but for me personally, I will always use this product.

I have been using this cleanser for a few months now and absolutely love it! It is amazing for removing all the makeup at the end of the day, but also very gentle around the eyes. If I don't have the time to do the whole routine I just rub it over the makeup and wash with warm water and it does a similar effect. Definitely worth the price!

My local mecca store recommended I try this when I asked about make-up remover. I was skeptical, but after using the sample twice I went and bought the full sized product (even before the sample was finished)! It is a bit timely (the process) but I can see the difference in my skin! I only do an extra cleanse after if I worn full face make up due to breakouts.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
