Cleanser

Olive

Normally I buy the 100ml pump version of the Eve Lom gel cleanser. I saw that the 200ml was better value for money though so I purchased the 200ml. I didn't realise though that the 200ml version only has a shelf life of 9 months when opened (unlike 12 months for the 100ml). If you don't use this cleanser twice a day it might be diffficult to get through it. So I would only recommend the 200ml for someone who is committed, otherwise you might be better off buying the 100ml pump version.

I’ve been using this for awhile now & it’s the yummiest make up remover/cleanser! Love the way it’s a balm that simply melts into your skin. Smells subtle but that luxe essential oil freshness. It’s harsh & using the cloth it comes with, really leaves your skin feeling nourished, clean & moisturised.

I’ve loved this for a while and was thrilled to see it at Mecca. I have aging (60) year old, post acne skin. I love this product. With the muslin cloth, it gently but effectively cleanses and exfoliates simultaneously.

I have been using Eve Lom for about 3 months and I love it. The cleanser is super refreshing and removes all redness. Highly recommended x

I purchased my Eve Lom cleanser 2 weeks ago and I immediately felt the difference. In the feel of my skin and my confidence. From the packaging, the suggested 7 step application process and the Muslin cloth included I was in love. Sure it is expensive but the luxury and the relaxing scent makes it worth it.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
