After doing some research about what types of products would be best for me I decided to give this a go. I loved it from the first time I used it and I have never used a balm cleanser before. I like the smell and love how soft it leaves my skin, will defiantly buy again.

Hands down this is the best cleanser I have ever used. I was pretty sceptic about using a cleansing balm as I have combination skin but have had severe acne in the past. However this cleanser has been amazing for my skin. I keeps my dry bits moisturised, and hasn't caused any break outs. It removes make up with ease and leaves my skin feeling super soft like I've just had a spa treatment. I get what people are saying about the smell, it's very earthy, but it doesn't linger or anything and I actually really like it. I especially love that it comes in the small size so you can try it without making a huge investment first.

I bought this as a Christmas bundle and I absolutely love it. I have rosacea mostly on my cheeks and since I’ve started double cleansing with this balm they are disappearing. Skin feels so calm and fresh no stripping. Though not a big fan of smell but this product works. Trust me

I just don't connect with this product. I like to just use my hands rather than a cloth, so there's that - I don't like the whole process needed to use this. It never felt like it was doing it's job and I ended up with breakouts. I have very fair skin and my main concern is keeping my face hydrated. I have sensitive skin and susceptible to milia - definitely felt like this contributed to that.

This is a weird balm, and I'm not sure I like it. It has quite a distinct smell that's neither pleasant nor unpleasant but just ... not something I really want to smell while washing my face? The texture is odd and I'm not a fan. It doesn't seem to remove easily even with a cloth, though it does remove makeup and feel safe on the eyes. Overall, it seems perfectly fine but nothing spectacular which is confusing because it's one of the dearer cleansing balms? I think I will stick with other brands.

I bought this product after the zillions of rave reviews and cult following it has, and I was so disappointed. I just don’t get what the hype is about. It’s a super, SUPER thick / greasy / gritty paste (think Vaseline if you put it in the fridge). The smell is unremarkable. It is nice massaging it into your face, but again, it feels very thick and heavy. The biggest problem for me was removal - it does not come off / out of my skin easily with hot water and the muslin cloth. I have to really scrub and rinse and re-apply hot water 2-3 times before I feel like the thick greasiness is gone, then have to follow with a foaming wash in the shower to finally get rid of it.While it does leave my skin soft and clean after I eventually manage to get it all off, in my experience it was not worth the effort and the results were average. I will definitely not buy this again, especially given the hefty price tag.

I purchased this on a whim and I don’t understand the seeming “cult” status this has. It smells like moth balls and is sticky. It does the job but I won’t repurchase.

I bought this awhile back along with the $15 muslin cloth based on the positive reviews online. I used it according to the instructions - lathering the balm with some warm water and onto my face then wiping it down with a warm muslin cloth. Within a couple of days, my skin broke out like I was a hormonal teenager. I never used it again after that and I didn't realize I could return the product so it became a very expensive paper weight. I used to never read the ingredient list and rely too much on reviews. I've just discovered that this has a few different oils which I've come to learn clogs my pores and make me break out bad. I would say if you have oilier skin (mine is combination), you should stay away.

Worst breakout with this product after one use. The cloth makes it worse

I only bought this a week ago, and I’ve used it twice. It smells really bad with a strong fragrance that lingers on your face. Does it remove your makeup? Yes. Is it worth the price point? No. Is it an overrated product? Yes!

I bought the mini cleanser to see if this would work with my skin, I have combination skin erring on the oily side and am very breakout prone. It has a lovely smell and feels great on the skin but unfortunately it was a bit too gentle and didn’t assist with breakouts
