I have been using this cleanser for a few weeks now and love it - I actually enjoy cleansing. I use the muslin cloth at times but other times I just rinse off under the tap.It cleans so well and doesn't leave my skin dry and tight like foaming cleansers do.I can see why it gets such good reviews.

Most amazing cleanser I have ever tried. Gets makeup off in such a gentle way without feeling like it's stripping your skin. I use it at night and I never feel like I have to put moisturizer on afterwards. I love the relaxing natural smell of it too . It's a little luxury after a hard day! Highly recommend the splurge as it is not a cheap purchase, but you will be oh so happy you did!!

This product has changed my life! I swear by it! My skin was really dry, flaky and dull. After using this cleanser, my skin has changed completely. I love how this cleanser makes my skin feels. The cloth really does help too! I use the cleanser at night and the morning cleanser in the morning! One thing I look forward to each day is cleansing my face!! :)

This is the first Mecca review I've written. One of the girls at mecca recommended this to me, and I am just loving it. My skin looks so fresh and clean, the tone is so much improved and my foundation seems to sit so much nicer. I've tried heaps of cleansers and just thought I had patchy skin. My new favourite product!

I have very dry skin and was looking for a bit more luxury to add to my skincare routine. I was so excited to get my hands on this cleanser after having trialled it in store with an Eve Lom representative. After having read all of the rave reviews posted on this site and on others, I was sure I couldn't go wrongAfter ten consecutive days of using this product in the morning and at night, I was hugely disappointed. I found that if I followed the instructions on the packaging, the cleanser left an oily residue which mingled with my moisturiser, causing my moisturiser to become flaky and peel off my skin. I had to go and wash my moisturiser off and basically start my skincare routine again (minus the cleanser).To remedy this, I tried applying the cleanser while I was in the shower. What I found was that when I removed all of the product off my skin, my face would dry out completely and would feel extremely taut (not in a good way) and flaky. The flakiness stuck around for a couple of days at a time.I've never had an issue with enlarged pores, but this product seemed to bring them out too.I'm not a fan of the smell or the texture of the product either. It felt like I was applying softened lard to my face. Gross.If you're seriously considering spending a hundred dollars or so on this product, I would definitely recommend trying out a decent sample first. It's possible that this product just wasn't designed for my skin type and so your mileage may vary.

I have used this product years ago however only recently started using it again after the seasonal change was making my dry skin even drier. From the first wash, my skin felt insanely clean and hydrated and after 2 weeks my dry patches were gone and my skin tone increased dramatically. I know that there is some controversy over the mineral oil in this product causing breakouts, but I have not had any side effects. For dry skin this product is amazing!

I was recommended this product after I started having some skin issues. I’ve always been lucky enough to have good skin, a bit dry but never break outs. All of a sudden I start to get very deep tiny lumps on my face, not quite pimples but just impurities. I have very sensitive skin and so am very wary of products but have this a try after it was recommended by the girl at the shop. It’s been phenomenal and I have just ordered my second bottle. Worth the dollars to treat your skin right.

Like Carrie seeing those shoes in SATC, I knew it was true love at first sight with this cleanser. My poor red dry skin has been transformed into not only human skin now, but silky. My father even asked me was I pregnant a week into using this as he said I was "glowing". Now if that's not a high recommendation I don't know what is! I love the process of applying this and taking time out to treat your skin everyday, so much so that I've ordered two backup jars!

I really regret this purchase.I've been using this cleanser every night for two weeks and have noticed no difference (and yes I've stuck to the tedious regime involved religiously).The main ingredient is liquid paraffin which pretty disappointing for such a pricey and over-hyped product.I don't even feel it being absorbed by my skin, and it just sits on the surface until you remove it.Really annoyed that I gave it a chance and didn't return it immediately for something beneficial.

I love a balm cleanser and have heard great things about this product. It worked well to remove impurities and makeup however, I can't get past the smell. It has an overpowering citrus / sweet smell that reminded me of a cocktail that lingers overnight. Yuck

I love trying a new cleanser and adding it to my twice daily skin care routine, especially if the cleanser is one that’s in all the fashion magazines and websites and blogs because everyone’s talking about it, raving about it, like this iconic Eve Lom cleanser.It’s supposed to be magic, radiant and glowing skin in a pretty little tub of gooey goodness with a facial cloth to make the cleansing experience even better. I couldn’t help myself I just had to see what everyone was talking about and try it for myself.The first thing I noticed was the extremely strong scent of eucalyptus which I was not a fan of, considering how sensitive and delicate my skin tends to be. I massaged a good dollop over my face, neck and décolletage and it was a lovely thick consistency but very rough and gritty, another thing that’s not great for my sensitive skin . I wiped it off gently with the dampened facial cloth and continued with the rest of my routine. I’m not a fan of this so called iconic cleanser and it’s certainly not going to replace my existing favourite cleanser any time soon. I noticed no significant difference to the tone or texture or radiance of my skin, probably because I only used it that one time and then gave it away. Pretty disappointed especially because of the steep price tag but I kept the matching facial cloth and use it with my usual cleanser and love it so it’s not all bad.
