I first heard about Eve Lom over 10 years ago from a British friend when she arrived at work one day with literally radiant skin. It's taken 10 long years but I finally thought to try this product a few weeks ago after a sudden break out of blackheads and pimples. After just 1 use, my skin looked clearer and happier. I like that there is a bit of a ritual to applying it as well - it feels like you're doing something indulgent for your skin, but it's relatively quick at the same time.

I hadn’t used this product in a few years. My skin was starting to feel dull and not properly cleaned with other products.I finally bought some of this again and wow my skin feels and looks really good. I think the Muslin cloth really helps to get all that makeup and dull skin off too. And it doesn’t dry my skin out at all!

I tried a sample from a Beauty Loop box and really liked it - besides the smell. Decided to purchase a small jar for $35 to see if I liked it enough to keep using it. I really like the feel of my skin after using. It gives great hydration, but I feel it’s just the wax/butters in it that make you feel hydrated. I’m not sure if it actually penetrates the skin enough for long lasting hydration. I haven’t used it long enough. A part from the fact that the product literally smells like echinacea (gross!) I think it’s a nice product and will continue using to see if I want the bigger jar and other Eve Lom products.

I was recommended this product after I started having some skin issues. I’ve always been lucky enough to have good skin, a bit dry but never break outs. All of a sudden I start to get very deep tiny lumps on my face, not quite pimples but just impurities. I have very sensitive skin and so am very wary of products but have this a try after it was recommended by the girl at the shop. It’s been phenomenal and I have just ordered my second bottle. Worth the dollars to treat your skin right.

Like Carrie seeing those shoes in SATC, I knew it was true love at first sight with this cleanser. My poor red dry skin has been transformed into not only human skin now, but silky. My father even asked me was I pregnant a week into using this as he said I was "glowing". Now if that's not a high recommendation I don't know what is! I love the process of applying this and taking time out to treat your skin everyday, so much so that I've ordered two backup jars!

I really regret this purchase.I've been using this cleanser every night for two weeks and have noticed no difference (and yes I've stuck to the tedious regime involved religiously).The main ingredient is liquid paraffin which pretty disappointing for such a pricey and over-hyped product.I don't even feel it being absorbed by my skin, and it just sits on the surface until you remove it.Really annoyed that I gave it a chance and didn't return it immediately for something beneficial.

I love a balm cleanser and have heard great things about this product. It worked well to remove impurities and makeup however, I can't get past the smell. It has an overpowering citrus / sweet smell that reminded me of a cocktail that lingers overnight. Yuck

I love trying a new cleanser and adding it to my twice daily skin care routine, especially if the cleanser is one that’s in all the fashion magazines and websites and blogs because everyone’s talking about it, raving about it, like this iconic Eve Lom cleanser.It’s supposed to be magic, radiant and glowing skin in a pretty little tub of gooey goodness with a facial cloth to make the cleansing experience even better. I couldn’t help myself I just had to see what everyone was talking about and try it for myself.The first thing I noticed was the extremely strong scent of eucalyptus which I was not a fan of, considering how sensitive and delicate my skin tends to be. I massaged a good dollop over my face, neck and décolletage and it was a lovely thick consistency but very rough and gritty, another thing that’s not great for my sensitive skin . I wiped it off gently with the dampened facial cloth and continued with the rest of my routine. I’m not a fan of this so called iconic cleanser and it’s certainly not going to replace my existing favourite cleanser any time soon. I noticed no significant difference to the tone or texture or radiance of my skin, probably because I only used it that one time and then gave it away. Pretty disappointed especially because of the steep price tag but I kept the matching facial cloth and use it with my usual cleanser and love it so it’s not all bad.
