I have been using this cleanser for almost a year now. The smell does not bother me at all. It's refreshing, and makes my skin feel clean, and not stripped of its natural oils. I also find this to be less fiddly and easy to use compared to the original cleanser.

I’ve noticed less attention to cleaning is required when using this product - meaning less stages of cleaning is required. Really does remove make up very easily. I also love that it comes in travel sizes as well and is packaged in a way whereby it definitely won’t leak. I have given it a 4 star, not because I don’t like this product (in fact will continue to order), but because some people might not like it’s scent. To me it’s herbal sent, is a reflection of the goodies it is made with.

For years I've used Eve Lom's cult cleanser in the pot and never really thought much about the gel cleanser. That was until I needed a product that would work well with my Foreo - it had to be a gel and have no grains or exfoliation ingredients (that can damage the silicone surface of the Foreo) so I tried the gel cleanser under the recommendation of the staff at the Mosman Cosmetica Mecca store... ...and boy am I pleased that I did! It's virtually the same product as the cult pot cleanser but without the need to scoop out the product; one pump of the gel cleanser is all I need - no fiddling with lids or melting product in the warmer months, plus this beauty is a cinch to travel with (if we ever can travel again!).The smell of the product is virtually the same (there is a slight difference but it's virtually unnoticeable) and it goes on smoothly and feels wonderful used with my Foreo. The consistency is the only real different as it doesn't contain that fine grain; it's a gel cleanser after all.Overall it's a great substitute to the pot cleanser if you're often on the go, or even if you want to stop yourself from using too much product. One pump is perfectly portioned to remove all my make up!

I feel this is great for people that wear makeup each day, as it does have a very good ability to remove excess make up. However if you aren't one to wear much makeup, it may not be for you. It has a clean effect, but doesn't feel like it gets into my skin deeper then the surface. The smell is revolting. I got the small size to try, but wont be purchasing again.

I have been looking for a cleanser primarily to help with my white heads, and this is the best I have ever come across. It does have a scent to it, but I would put Parmesan cheese all over my face if it got rid of the whiteheads like this did!!!

One pump of this product goes far. My makeup wipes off easily, I put a little extra effort in to the eye area and haven’t had any eye irritation (which is something I’m sensitive to). Unlike other cleansers that I’ve used I don’t feel like my skin is stripped. It stays so moisturised and has made a big difference to my skincare routine. I would have given this product a 5 but it doesn’t smell nice, smells like chemicals mixed with essential oils.

I bought the small travel size to test this product out and lucky i did. The smell made me feel sick. I used it a few times and i liked the cleanser itself however unfortunately i can't get past the smell. It is really strong and stinks. I gave it to someone else to use and they too couldn't use it due to the smell.

This cleanser doesn’t offer as deep a clean as I personally would like, it leaves a bit of residue. It is beautiful on the skin though. I think I may go back to the bare minerals oil cleanser or omorovicza cleanser.

Ive heard alot about Eve Lom and how great her stuff is but as usual couldn't get it here in Australia. Lo and behold it arrives and at Mecca no less.This is the BEST cleanser on the market and I have tried heaps. It takes off EVERYTHING, and I mean everything and it exfoliates as well. Which for me is an added bonus. After you have cleansed your skin feels so smooth and soft that at times I have forgotten to use moisturiser after cleansing and have gone to bed without my night cream. And truthfully it hasn't been missed. Go and get yourself a tub now you won't be sorry!

I am a massive fan of cleansing balms and this is one of the first I used. The product cleanses well and leaves skin feeling soft and supple (when removed correctly with a muslin cloth). I love the smell, texture and melt-ability of the product but with all these positives the use of mineral oil in such an expensive product downgrades this cleansing balm to only 3 stars for me as Mecca offers multiple mineral oil free cleansing balm alternatives!xo

This product has a horrible pasty texture and doesn't emulsify properly. It didn't remove my non-water proofing make up. I don't recommend this at all. Tatcha and Omorovicza are much better in texture amen effectiveness!

I am a huge huge fan of this cleanser!! It's not cheap but it lasts ages as a little goes a long way. Consider it an investment for your skin!! For my work I have to wear a full face of makeup and even the smallest amount removes everything. I'll wipe my face dry on a towel and there'll be none of that beige makeup residue like I get with many other cleansers - I don't even have to double cleanse!! Although the balm-like texture is very rich and moisturising, it doesn't clog your pores IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGING (i.e. use the cloth to open pores with hot water/steam and close pores at the end by rinsing your face with cold water). It will work for any and every skin type and maturity if you follow the cleansing steps. I sometimes get a few hormonal blemishes and this cleanser doesn't exacerbate them at all, if not reduces them as my pores are getting such a deep and thorough clean. Also leaves my skin feeling super soft, not oily and clogged. All in all, LOVE this product!!! And those I know who didn't as much, didn't follow the steps properly so in my opinion, doing so is just as important as the cleanser itself!!!!!
