I'm a bit late to the party on this cleanser as $100 for a wash off product has always seemed steep to me, but I recently splurged and I am not disappointed! The fragrance of this melting balm is magical and exactly what you need at the end of a long day. It is quite a process to use this product, going on and off with the muslin cloth, and each night I've walked into my bathroom to use it I've been dreading the process, however once you get started the product is so nice that it's easy to just get caught up in the indulgence! I'm giving it only 4 stars as the cloth is just a bit annoying to use and I find it a bit too big for what is needed, but it really does make your skin feel amazing and I've found it really effective at taking of makeup etc.

This is a solid preparation you warm up between your fingertips and apply. I liked everything about it but unfortunately had break outs every time I used it. Although it wasn't for me, the quality of the product was great, and left my skin feeling smooth immediately after use.

I used to think cleansers were the least important part of skin care - as long as it cleaned off make-up and grime, it's fine, right? However, as time goes by I have noticed many foaming cleansers leave my skin feeling tight, dry and dull. I assumed it was the catch 22 of an effective product.After purchasing the Eve Lom cleanser I realised how mistaken I was. I couldn't believe how a balm rubbed all over a day's make up could possibly thoroughly clean it all off, but just a couple of applications with the muslin cloth as per instructions was enough to remove EVERYTHING. I wear waterproof eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, tinted moisturiser and blush, and by the end of this cleansing regimen there is not a trace left. I didn't even have to move the cloth around on my skin one bit.The best part is that the cleanser left my skin looking hydrated, smooth and glowing. I don't really have any specific skin problems and my husband always laughed at me when I asked him if a skin care product made a difference. He'd always say "your skin looks the same to me; it's always smooth anyway". This time, however, he noticed that my skin looked much clearer and smoother after only one use. I sound like a raving lunatic (or possibly a shareholder of this company) but this product is legit!

I'm a bit of a skincare junkie, when I finish a product I love reasearching and then trying out something new. This one is the exception though, I keep repurchasing it because it is such an amazing product. It removes every single scrap of make up. Skin is left feeling supple and plump, not tight or dry but also not greasy. I personally like the smell (I prefer a botanical/ natural smell to an artificial perfume scent). I only use it at night time, I do find that if I use it morning and night (either the original twice a day, or original at night and morning-time version in the morning) then I start to get horrible cystic acne. I think for my skin it is just too much and I need to use a gentle foaming cleanser once a day.

I've been invited by Mecca for the free Eve Lom product presentation. I've loved it so much that I've bought the cleanser straight away. Not only that it last forever - great value for money - but smells and feels amazing on my skin. I have some allergy issues with my face and eyes, and would react badly for a lot of products, claiming to be great on sensitive skin. Not this one! Its not only nourishing my skin, but also reduces puffiness and removes all the make up. Love it and highly recommend :)

I bought the small travel size to test this product out and lucky i did. The smell made me feel sick. I used it a few times and i liked the cleanser itself however unfortunately i can't get past the smell. It is really strong and stinks. I gave it to someone else to use and they too couldn't use it due to the smell.

This cleanser doesn’t offer as deep a clean as I personally would like, it leaves a bit of residue. It is beautiful on the skin though. I think I may go back to the bare minerals oil cleanser or omorovicza cleanser.

Ive heard alot about Eve Lom and how great her stuff is but as usual couldn't get it here in Australia. Lo and behold it arrives and at Mecca no less.This is the BEST cleanser on the market and I have tried heaps. It takes off EVERYTHING, and I mean everything and it exfoliates as well. Which for me is an added bonus. After you have cleansed your skin feels so smooth and soft that at times I have forgotten to use moisturiser after cleansing and have gone to bed without my night cream. And truthfully it hasn't been missed. Go and get yourself a tub now you won't be sorry!

I am a massive fan of cleansing balms and this is one of the first I used. The product cleanses well and leaves skin feeling soft and supple (when removed correctly with a muslin cloth). I love the smell, texture and melt-ability of the product but with all these positives the use of mineral oil in such an expensive product downgrades this cleansing balm to only 3 stars for me as Mecca offers multiple mineral oil free cleansing balm alternatives!xo

This product has a horrible pasty texture and doesn't emulsify properly. It didn't remove my non-water proofing make up. I don't recommend this at all. Tatcha and Omorovicza are much better in texture amen effectiveness!

I am a huge huge fan of this cleanser!! It's not cheap but it lasts ages as a little goes a long way. Consider it an investment for your skin!! For my work I have to wear a full face of makeup and even the smallest amount removes everything. I'll wipe my face dry on a towel and there'll be none of that beige makeup residue like I get with many other cleansers - I don't even have to double cleanse!! Although the balm-like texture is very rich and moisturising, it doesn't clog your pores IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PACKAGING (i.e. use the cloth to open pores with hot water/steam and close pores at the end by rinsing your face with cold water). It will work for any and every skin type and maturity if you follow the cleansing steps. I sometimes get a few hormonal blemishes and this cleanser doesn't exacerbate them at all, if not reduces them as my pores are getting such a deep and thorough clean. Also leaves my skin feeling super soft, not oily and clogged. All in all, LOVE this product!!! And those I know who didn't as much, didn't follow the steps properly so in my opinion, doing so is just as important as the cleanser itself!!!!!
