I'm a bit late to the party on this cleanser as $100 for a wash off product has always seemed steep to me, but I recently splurged and I am not disappointed! The fragrance of this melting balm is magical and exactly what you need at the end of a long day. It is quite a process to use this product, going on and off with the muslin cloth, and each night I've walked into my bathroom to use it I've been dreading the process, however once you get started the product is so nice that it's easy to just get caught up in the indulgence! I'm giving it only 4 stars as the cloth is just a bit annoying to use and I find it a bit too big for what is needed, but it really does make your skin feel amazing and I've found it really effective at taking of makeup etc.

This is a solid preparation you warm up between your fingertips and apply. I liked everything about it but unfortunately had break outs every time I used it. Although it wasn't for me, the quality of the product was great, and left my skin feeling smooth immediately after use.

I used to think cleansers were the least important part of skin care - as long as it cleaned off make-up and grime, it's fine, right? However, as time goes by I have noticed many foaming cleansers leave my skin feeling tight, dry and dull. I assumed it was the catch 22 of an effective product.After purchasing the Eve Lom cleanser I realised how mistaken I was. I couldn't believe how a balm rubbed all over a day's make up could possibly thoroughly clean it all off, but just a couple of applications with the muslin cloth as per instructions was enough to remove EVERYTHING. I wear waterproof eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, tinted moisturiser and blush, and by the end of this cleansing regimen there is not a trace left. I didn't even have to move the cloth around on my skin one bit.The best part is that the cleanser left my skin looking hydrated, smooth and glowing. I don't really have any specific skin problems and my husband always laughed at me when I asked him if a skin care product made a difference. He'd always say "your skin looks the same to me; it's always smooth anyway". This time, however, he noticed that my skin looked much clearer and smoother after only one use. I sound like a raving lunatic (or possibly a shareholder of this company) but this product is legit!

I'm a bit of a skincare junkie, when I finish a product I love reasearching and then trying out something new. This one is the exception though, I keep repurchasing it because it is such an amazing product. It removes every single scrap of make up. Skin is left feeling supple and plump, not tight or dry but also not greasy. I personally like the smell (I prefer a botanical/ natural smell to an artificial perfume scent). I only use it at night time, I do find that if I use it morning and night (either the original twice a day, or original at night and morning-time version in the morning) then I start to get horrible cystic acne. I think for my skin it is just too much and I need to use a gentle foaming cleanser once a day.

I've been invited by Mecca for the free Eve Lom product presentation. I've loved it so much that I've bought the cleanser straight away. Not only that it last forever - great value for money - but smells and feels amazing on my skin. I have some allergy issues with my face and eyes, and would react badly for a lot of products, claiming to be great on sensitive skin. Not this one! Its not only nourishing my skin, but also reduces puffiness and removes all the make up. Love it and highly recommend :)

Everything about this product is beautiful and luxurious; its texture, its smell, and especially the way it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft after its cleansing and gentle exfoliation. Tip: read the ritual described on the leaflet that comes with it, and take an extra minute or two to turn cleansing into a beautiful, calming experience. Also note that you don't have to buy separate cloths straight away: the pack comes with one or two to start you off.

Received a sample and was sadly unimpressed and threw the rest out! Disliked the scent it smells of natural antiseptic perhaps the clove oil, had a slight warming sensation on my skin. Love using oil cleansers but it felt like such a process like it belongs in a day spa or if you could relax and have someone do it for you, just did not like it and will be sticking to my Tatcha cleansing oil which feels luxurious and E A S Y!

I was given a sample to use and it absolutely stinks. I can’t figure what the fragrance is but it’s almost like after next day stench after a 3 day festival bender. I can see alcohol is one of its top ingredients so that might be it, but it’s so disappointing considering the brand is so luxurious.
