Being claimed as 'the best cleanser' is a big call to make and I have to admit I was sceptical at first, what could be so great about it and make it better than all the other cleansers out there? First impressions... the texture was weird almost like a paste - different to most cleansers I've used, the smell was nothing great. The instructions sounded like a long process applying it a few times as recommended and using the muslin cloth and I wasn't sure I'd be bothered with it at first applying the cleanser a few times. I wasn't too sure about it but after using it a couple of times I could understand what all the hype was about it makes my skin feel beautiful, soft and smooth and I don't even need to apply moisturiser. I love it and have recommended it to all of my friends.

Eve Lom cleanser is a genius product. Nothing has ever left my skin feeling so deliciously nourished after cleansing in the past 35 years!! An added bonus is a tiny amount removes eye make up like no other, in a very simple one wipe process. I'm addicted.

To be told that you only need to use the one product to remove my make up and not apply a toner and mosturiser afterwards sounded a little scary and incomplete to me! But in all honesty as odd as you feel at first it does what it promises!I will be honest and say i got a bit of cotton with some toner to challenge it but when i wiped my face with it the cotton was spotless! It does not leave a trace of make up and leaves your skin feeling lovely. The smell of the product has a calming effect also so believe me it is brilliant in more way than one! Also what I love about it is when I travel i only need to take the one item and the muslin cloth!! Not more massive containers.. more room for the other stuff! I have already recommened this to a friend and she came in to work the other day raving about it also! Highly recommend this you wont be disappointed!!

i love the feel of this cleanser. its not soapy or drying and it does not sting or scratch. the mesclun cloth is absolute heaven. Using it as recommended is so relaxing and it doubles as a gentle exfoliator. my skin is so clear and it glows. everyone at work wonders if im on a special diet or vitamin but the only thing ive changed is using eve lom!

Everything about this product is beautiful and luxurious; its texture, its smell, and especially the way it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft after its cleansing and gentle exfoliation. Tip: read the ritual described on the leaflet that comes with it, and take an extra minute or two to turn cleansing into a beautiful, calming experience. Also note that you don't have to buy separate cloths straight away: the pack comes with one or two to start you off.

Received a sample and was sadly unimpressed and threw the rest out! Disliked the scent it smells of natural antiseptic perhaps the clove oil, had a slight warming sensation on my skin. Love using oil cleansers but it felt like such a process like it belongs in a day spa or if you could relax and have someone do it for you, just did not like it and will be sticking to my Tatcha cleansing oil which feels luxurious and E A S Y!

I was given a sample to use and it absolutely stinks. I can’t figure what the fragrance is but it’s almost like after next day stench after a 3 day festival bender. I can see alcohol is one of its top ingredients so that might be it, but it’s so disappointing considering the brand is so luxurious.
