Excessive Oiliness

I love the Eve Lom Cleanser! I want to try all the products! I have the worste skin which suffers from bad acne, flaking and old acne scars. Have tried everything from led skin treatments, micro dermabraision, all the "top" acne skin care products and even prescribed medication! But those things ended up just too costly and needed to work still with another cleanser. Eve Lom cleanser worked from day 1! Scaring has dramatically gone down, skin is so soft (feels like I have just had micro!) acne has gone and that's without led and micro treatments! Works as a cleanser (you seriously don't need to double cleanse with this product) exfoliates with the cloth, tones and moisterisers skin all in one! Love love love the product!

Amazing, best product I have ever used. Smells beautiful and leaves my skin feeling soft - not stripped bare! Love it and recommend it to everyone. Worth every single cent!!!

This is a beautiful skin cleanser and I've noticed the softness of my skin - it ain't great for taking of eye makeup though unless you leave it on for a while, about 10 mins is great.

I'll be honest - I was sceptical. Having had problem skin since my teens, I doubted the hype: "probably the best cleanser in the world" is a Very Big Claim. But then I tried this cleanser and, at least for me, this is indeed the case. I have been using this as my primary cleanser more or less since Mecca began stocking Eve Lom. When I use it consistently, my skin is at its best. When I run out and decide to use something else, just for a change, upon my return I always wonder why I ever strayed. My best cleanser.

When I first started to use this my skin broke out but I persevered as I thought it's probably drawing out impurities and it was. About 1-2 weeks later those pesky bumps and lumps under my skin are gone and my skin is smooth and bump free.

I have been using this cleanser for the past three months and firmly believe that it deserves all of the praise it has received (and more). It is the best thing I have ever tried at taking off makeup. It is a balm, so a thicker, yellow texture that melts onto the skin once you cover it with a hot cloth. After leaving the cloth to steam, as little as three times, my makeup comes off with unbelievable ease. Over the last three months I have noticed less breakouts, smoother and softer skin, even less redness/ hyperpigmentation. HOWEVER, I did replace the muslin cloth with a face washer, noticing that the product melted faster, and took off my makeup easier when I used a thicker cloth. It is almost as if the muslin cloth is too thin; after placing it under hot water, wringing it, and bringing it to my skin, it almost felt cold to the touch! For those of you who have tried it, and perhaps weren't as wow-ed with it as you thought you'd be, I'd recommend trying it with a face washer instead.

This cleanser does it all! Absolutely amazing, everyone should try this! My face produces less oil throughout the day, my pores have reduced dramatically, and hardly any hormonal acne. Totally in love

The product is really good for taking make up off, like it's supposed to do. But if you have oily skin like me, I wouldn't buy it because the morning after I used the product my skin was horrible! It just made my skin break out. So I won't be buying this again.

Ok yes. This is a good cleanser. It smells fresh and it made my face fresh too. But let’s be honest it’s expensive. For something we just wash off with water... I prefer to spend that money on a serum. But if you have a whole lot of excess cash then yeah get it!

I've been using this as a first cleanse for a month now and just not loving it as much as I thought I would. The Elemis balm and Glow Recipe Papaya are better at removing my eye makeup than this one. The smell is also a bit off-putting. I do agree with one reviewer who suggested using this for a facial massage instead of an oil - it really helps your hands smooth over without tugging too much at your skin.

I bought this after reading all the reviews with a view to start double cleansing. I have sensitive, oily, blemish prone skin and habitually have found it very difficult to find skincare which does not cause me to breakout. First thing I disliked was the smell. It's super intense and very pungent. I held my breath and kept moving forwards. The second thing I disliked was the texture. I found it uneven, with a waxy residue that was hard to spread. It felt sticky over certain spots on my face. The third and final thing was it caused me to break out, with small surface pimples, larger deeper pimples and blackheads, and my face felt oily throughout the day after a week of using this product. I would run my finger across my face and be left with an oily residue. After a week of using it, I gave it up. It's not for me.
