Pigmentation

Age 17-24

I HAVE REALLY ACNE PRONE SKIN with not so bad active acne nowadays, but a lot of hyper pigmentation and I LOVE THIS PLS. I use two pumps of the milky jelly cleanser every night to remove makeup, and I'm obsessed with the fact that I can put it on my eyes too. Even with eyeshadow & a dark liquid lip two pumps will get off like 90% of my makeup. At night, I follow up with my Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Face Wash for a gentle exfoliation & it gets off any makeup that would POSSIBLY be left over. Then I moisturize with the Tea Tree Oil Mattifying Lotion from The Body Shop. I did try the Priming Moisturizer from the Phase 1 set for about a week but I ended up breaking out with some cystic acne, so I did give up on that (for me personally!!!!) In the morning I JUST use the Milky Jelly with my Tea Tree moisturizer + my skin has be looking consistently good for the past 3 weeks, I've been using this product for a month now but I'm disregarding when I broke out from the Priming Moisturizer that first week. Give this a go definitely!!!! If you want to try ANYTHING from Glossier skincare wise, this should be your #1!

Enlarged Pores

Age 25-30

Light

I'm 30 and my skin is terrible (acne, oil, dryness somehow even tho it's oily, huge pores...) and this stuff changed it completely. My tone is much more even and my skin feels so soft.

Sensitivity

Age 25-30

I have sensitive skin and break out easily. I also get really red super easily. This cleanser is sooooo gentle yet I still feel like I have clean skin after using it. I have already bought two and will continue using this. I have been looking for a holy grail face wash and this is it!

Sensitivity

Age 17-24

Medium

This is my go-to face wash. A little pricy but it lasts, and it works great for getting that refreshed feeling after the day, or to start off before makeup. I have supremely sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate my eczema!

Dullness

Age 17-24

So I've been using this cleanser for 2 months now, and I have had very underwhelming results. It's not as nourishing as I had hoped, in fact, it isn't nourishing at all. After rinsing, my skin feels terribly dried out and even flakey, particularly on my cheeks. I've had zero improvement with my acne-- my complexion is just dull and dried out now. The jelly cleanser seems like it's doing nothing to help. It's not even an adequate makeup remover, so I'm not sure what purpose it serves. It's a worthless product and a waste of time.

Rosacea

Age 25-30

I think about the few days I spent with this face wash often. The first time I used it, it felt SO good. It rinsed off efficiently without leaving me feeling scrubbed, and left my face incredibly soft and glowy. My redness temporarily went down and I looked super smoothed out. Amazing. Unfortunately over the next few days I developed the same irritation a lot of reviewers have talked about -- intense redness, dryness, and small bumps popping up everywhere. I have rosacea subtype 2 and I've done a TON of work to resolve my redness and textural issues. So, I know exactly what caused this particular irritation for me: rose water. I knew going into this that I was taking a chance with the rose water because last time I put it on my face I had this exact reaction. But that had been a very strong toner, not a wash. I figured this might be gentler because there are calming ingredients in this. Indeed, my reaction to this wash wasn't half as bad as the first rose water experiment. With some anti-inflammatory treatment it went away in a few days and I was left dry and flaky with a slight burning feeling, like a sunburn (common with rosacea). Please help me with my sensitive skin FOMO and make a face wash without rosewater. Clearly other people are reacting to it, too. Maybe honey or aloe instead?

Rosacea

Age 17-24

So let me just say I have cystic acne and extremely sensitive skin (what appears to be papular rosacea). A lot of my friends have recommended this product because of how soothing it was, comparing it to the First Aid Beauty Cleanser (my go-to). So I get the product, take off my makeup with micellar water, and apply this to my damp skin. The actual face washing experience was AMAZING: nice light scent, smooth texture, rinsed off easily and left my face feeling the most hydrated it has ever been after washing. So I applied my moisturizer and prayed for the other shoe to not drop. Unfortunately, it did. I started getting a slow-burning sensation along with some itchiness and heat. Went to go look in the mirror, and of course, the papular rosacea style redness and bumps occurred. Luckily it was nothing a quick cleanse, Benadryl, and ice cube couldn't fix. While it didn't work for me, I would recommend it to people without sensitive skin.

Rosacea

Age 17-24

The cleanser is light and gentle and smells lovely, but every time I use it - and I have rosacea - it leaves my face looking red and I get these strange, sore and fluid filled spots. Something in the formulation is causing my skin to react - I would not recommend if you have rosacea or sensitive skin...

Rosacea

Age 17-24

Light

I have very sensitive skin, and based on the reviews this sounded like a good and gentle cleanser for my skin type, but it dried my skin out and irritated it. It made my rosacea flare up and my forehead feels very dry even though my nose and forehead tend to be more oily than the rest of my face. The consistency is nice and the smell isn’t overwhelming, but it is not good for my skin.

Breakouts/Acne

Age 17-24

I tried this in conjunction with the Solution, and it left me with more acne than I started with. My cheeks were left with a dozen tiny bumps that lasted weeks. I have very stubborn skin, so this might have worked for someone with a different skin type. It's very gentle and I like the scent, but I don't like how my skin reacted to it.
