I never regretted not repurchasing an item so much. After I ran out of my second bottle of Milky Jelly cleanser and for some reason I thought to myself: ""hey, your skin looks great, let's try something else!!"" Ha. What a bad idea. After a month and a half of using a different product, my skin was breaking out, especially in my t-zone, it was looking dull, uneven and unhappy. I looked like I was 14 again, with the way I was breaking out. Needless to say, my skin whimpered in happiness when I pumped this liquid gold onto my fingertips and cried for joy the moment it made contact and sighed a huge relief. Plus, it smells great and is very light weight! Ten out of ten, would recommend!

This was my first Glossier product and I was surprised that right away I didn't think it was super amazing. I am not used to the dewy texture, it's kind of thick and doesn't feel like it does much. And there's no scent! I like my face wash with a clean smell, while this milky jelly doesn't smell like anything. Boring. However... I've now used this apart of my daily routine and I guess my skin loves it. It's a great gentle cleanser with my combination skin and I like to use both at night and morning. It grew on me!

Ten years ago I started using CeraVe and never looked back after my Dermatologist recommended it. But I wanted to mix it up a few years back and found the milky jelly cleanser. I have been using this ever since. It feels amazing on the skin. Frequently if my skin feels dull or dry I put it on without getting my face wet first and then rinse it off. It gets my glossier foundation and other make ups off very well. Usually takes about two gentle passes. I always use a face washing brush when I wear foundation and that helps.

I have been using this product now for 1 and a half years and order one every 3 months. I cannot live with out it! If I don't use it then I can tell; my skin looks dull and my face feels rough and lifeless. I use this in the morning after exfoliating and in the evening to take off my make up. I love Milky Jelly Cleanser more than anything in my routine; the light texture and the soft smell wake my skin up, makes it soft and lightens my life every day.

I was using the Cera Ve hydrating cleanser, but I believe the company changed ownership and did reformulations, because all the Cera Ve products dull my skin or break me out now. I love this jelly cleanser bc it's so gentle and effective. My go-to cleanser now.

Rosacea
Age 25-30
As someone who chops and changes skincare all the time, this is so good that I've used this cleanser for over a year. I had a bad reaction to an eyebrow gel from another brand and slathered this on my burning brows to try and remove it and the burning immediately started to calm down. I have oily, acne prone skin with rosacea on my nose and cheeks and this is the only cleanser I use that doesn't aggravate my skin. I will say I wouldn't use this to remove my makeup or suncream but it's amazing as a second cleanse. I've even got my brother hooked on it, who refuses to spend more that £3 on skincare usually. He claims it's the only thing that doesn't give him a breakout. This is a forever buy for me!

So I've been using this cleanser for 2 months now, and I have had very underwhelming results. It's not as nourishing as I had hoped, in fact, it isn't nourishing at all. After rinsing, my skin feels terribly dried out and even flakey, particularly on my cheeks. I've had zero improvement with my acne-- my complexion is just dull and dried out now. The jelly cleanser seems like it's doing nothing to help. It's not even an adequate makeup remover, so I'm not sure what purpose it serves. It's a worthless product and a waste of time.

I think about the few days I spent with this face wash often. The first time I used it, it felt SO good. It rinsed off efficiently without leaving me feeling scrubbed, and left my face incredibly soft and glowy. My redness temporarily went down and I looked super smoothed out. Amazing. Unfortunately over the next few days I developed the same irritation a lot of reviewers have talked about -- intense redness, dryness, and small bumps popping up everywhere. I have rosacea subtype 2 and I've done a TON of work to resolve my redness and textural issues. So, I know exactly what caused this particular irritation for me: rose water. I knew going into this that I was taking a chance with the rose water because last time I put it on my face I had this exact reaction. But that had been a very strong toner, not a wash. I figured this might be gentler because there are calming ingredients in this. Indeed, my reaction to this wash wasn't half as bad as the first rose water experiment. With some anti-inflammatory treatment it went away in a few days and I was left dry and flaky with a slight burning feeling, like a sunburn (common with rosacea). Please help me with my sensitive skin FOMO and make a face wash without rosewater. Clearly other people are reacting to it, too. Maybe honey or aloe instead?

So let me just say I have cystic acne and extremely sensitive skin (what appears to be papular rosacea). A lot of my friends have recommended this product because of how soothing it was, comparing it to the First Aid Beauty Cleanser (my go-to). So I get the product, take off my makeup with micellar water, and apply this to my damp skin. The actual face washing experience was AMAZING: nice light scent, smooth texture, rinsed off easily and left my face feeling the most hydrated it has ever been after washing. So I applied my moisturizer and prayed for the other shoe to not drop. Unfortunately, it did. I started getting a slow-burning sensation along with some itchiness and heat. Went to go look in the mirror, and of course, the papular rosacea style redness and bumps occurred. Luckily it was nothing a quick cleanse, Benadryl, and ice cube couldn't fix. While it didn't work for me, I would recommend it to people without sensitive skin.

The cleanser is light and gentle and smells lovely, but every time I use it - and I have rosacea - it leaves my face looking red and I get these strange, sore and fluid filled spots. Something in the formulation is causing my skin to react - I would not recommend if you have rosacea or sensitive skin...

I have very sensitive skin, and based on the reviews this sounded like a good and gentle cleanser for my skin type, but it dried my skin out and irritated it. It made my rosacea flare up and my forehead feels very dry even though my nose and forehead tend to be more oily than the rest of my face. The consistency is nice and the smell isn’t overwhelming, but it is not good for my skin.

Breakouts/Acne
Age 17-24
I tried this in conjunction with the Solution, and it left me with more acne than I started with. My cheeks were left with a dozen tiny bumps that lasted weeks. I have very stubborn skin, so this might have worked for someone with a different skin type. It's very gentle and I like the scent, but I don't like how my skin reacted to it.
