I have tried numerous "rosacea" cleansers which are specifically targeted to soothe my incredibly temperamental skin (and drain my wallet). Not one of them has helped me like the milky jelly cleanser. The cooling consistency of the product is a go-to for me day and night. I will even use it to wash my fash in the middle of the day when I am experiencing a flare-up. I hope they never change the formula or discontinue the product as everything else I have tried often leaves my skin burning.

I have a very bad case of rosacea which means my skin is very sensitive. This milky jelly does not foam (which is good- no SLS or derivatives) and leaves my skin feeling "fresh" and not dried out (which accompanies a lot of cleansers that contain alcohol). If you want that "squeaky clean" feeling, this is not the cleanser for you! It is very gentle, yet cleansing, which I LOVE. My face looks noticeably better after using this for a week. Worth every penny!!

I was very happy to get it but sadly it didn't really do anything to my skin. Can't even tell if it cleaned it or not. However, it is very gentle and my acne skin is thankful for it. Used every morning and evening during 3 months, but changing it to a different cleanser made for acne skin. In my opinion, it is not for acne skin as we need improvements from our skincare. Thank you anyway, Glossier ♡

This stuff is so good and 100% worth the money! It literally cleared all of my acne and I had a lot of acne... I tried going off it for a little while cooler so expensive but then all my acne came right back. If they ever get rid of this product I literally don’t know what I’m going to do.

It's the same texture as Spectro Jel which is only available in Canada. Why the heck is there Comfrey extract??? That is SOOO sensitizing! Take out the nonsense and leave it UNSCENTED. All one needs is the cleansing ingredients. I and many others get RASHES from that ingredient. I got the worst rosacea flare up ever. Back to La Roche Posay Rosalic which by the way does the same thing this does and has almost the same ingredients...but it doesn't cause my eyes to burn. Take out the extracts please. They are NOT needed.

I purchased this cleanser because of the growing cult following with high high hopes. [I have severely dry, sensitive skin with rosacea] The cleanser is very mild, never once aggravated my rosacea, so it is very compatible with sensitive skin. A major downfall, however, is my skin never really felt clean. It doesn't really clean makeup that well [eye or face], and even as a second cleanser after an oil cleanser, my face didn't feel all that clean. It leaves a slight residual film similar to oil cleansers but less luxuriant. The cleanser also smells a bit like plastic. Overall, the cleanser is ok, but don't expect miracles. To note, I used an entire bottle before reviewing. Wouldn't recommend, won't repurchase.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who has acne - I saw in reviews that some people with acne had success with it, but it caused my face to breakout within a day of using it for the first time.

I originally loved this, it smells good, it has the most interesting texture, I love rose but dear lord I'll never go near this again. My skin started breaking out when I started using it and I didn't realize it was the cleanser until I stopped using it. During the 3 month I was using this my skin broke out into horrible, deep cystic acne all over my face in places I don't normally break out. The day after I stopped using the cleanser my face felt so much better. Within a week my skin was healing up and no new break out started. I think that speaks for itself

this product was great! it was soothing, not irritating, and not harsh at all! very gentle and jelly-like. BUT it did not help with my acne at all, so if you’re looking for something to help with acne, this is not the product for you :)

This cleanser was recommended by many friends, and of course has great marketing so it is hard to resist. However, after three weeks using this cleanser I started to develop cystic acne, which I haven't had issues with in over 5 years since I became very careful with my skincare routine. I am always careful when introducing a new product, so unfortunately I know it was caused by this cleanser. It does feel great but I would not recommend it to combination or acne prone skin. Many of the women I know who use it already have nearly perfect skin, and it does work great for them!
