I received this product as a sample. I would never have tried it otherwise because of the rose water ingredient -- my skin is extremely sensitive and rosacea-prone, and even slight fragrances (even natural) make my entire face turn bright red and cause my skin to burn. I've found that I am especially sensitive to floral scents, like rose. However, I was really pleasantly surprised by this cleanser. I've been using it for about a week now, and so far so good. It doesn't cause any extra sensitivity that I've noticed, and it does an amazing job of cleaning without making your face feel dry and tight. It worked well for me as a second cleanse (after oil cleanse). I am considering purchasing the full size after it runs out. I only removed a star because it does have quite a strong rose smell, which might bother you if you are even more sensitive to scents than I am.

Wow, the milky jelly cleanser blew me away. It is perfect for rosacea-prone/sensitive skin, albeit super effective (which is a delicate balance to find in a product, and quite an impressive feat on glossier's end). It is lovely to touch-I am mildly obsessed with the (aptly named) ""milky jelly"" consistency-with a subtle, charming scent; that said, it is surprisingly powerful for a cleanser that manages to avoid stripping the skin, clogging pores, or leaving too much residue. At the end of the day, you can use it as a makeup remover by applying it to dry skin (and on your eyes w/ zero sting); it is also ideal to apply on damp skin/with wet hands in the morning to gently wash away any bedtime serums and moisturizers and kick off your am routine. This face wash is joy to use and amazingly versatile.

milky jelly cleanser restored my rough, rosacea-ridden skin that i've struggled with for over a decade without drying OR overoiling my skin. a pea-sized amount is enough to wash my face and neck, and within a week of using this cleanser i felt my cheeks softening, smoothing, and saw the redness in my cheeks going down. i'm happier with my skin than i've been in years, and so happy to finally be rid of itchy, blotchy red cheeks.

I went ahead and splurged on the big size because I had heard such great reviews. Wow! I do not regret it. I have very dry sensitive skin with rosacea. This did not bother my skin at all! If anything, my redness subsided after I used it. I did not know that there were products that wouldn't leave my skin red after use! I will definitely repurchase!!

I have rosacea and combination skin. So many things make it angry, but not this little babe. I love this stuff. I usually use it at night or when I want to do a gentle cleanse on my skin. It's perfect. So gentle. Hydrating. Yet it still leaves my skin feeling clean. I will use this for as long as it exists.

Rosacea
Age 25-30
I have rosacea and very sensitive skin that burns and flares up whenever I use any product on it. This cleanser has been amazing on my skin and made it look flawless, it has never felt this clean before while also not being dried out. Will be re-buying this definitely!

I have eczema and acne - this cleanser just didn’t do it for me. It left my skin feeling dry and textured. I also didn’t like the way it pumped. If you pump it with one hand the spout isn’t long enough and all the product seeps onto the outside of the bottle. Had to pick it up pump it into my hand directly - I was disappointed with the design. I’m going to switch back to the milk jelly cleanser. I could see if you don’t suffer with eczema this could be a good option for acne. But it’s just no where near moisturising enough for me.

Really liked this product the first few uses- the smell wasn't bad for me, personally, and my skin felt SO smooth and clean (not tight!!) after using. Unfortunately, after about a week I did start developing some pretty bad acne though. In the past I have had cystic, hormonal, and dietary-related acne, but haven't experienced much since taking Accutane in 2020 until using this product! It definitely made me break out which I know because it went away after I stopped using it. I'm sure it would be fine if I used it once a week, but definitely not for everyday use. I love love LOVE the milk jelly cleaner though and have not had this issue with it!

Enlarged Pores
Age 25-30
This product clogged my pores (pores I didn't even know I had!) and caused my chin, forehead and cheeks to breakout. I would always double cleanse and use this for the last cleanse but my skin never felt clean afterwards, it felt like there was residue leftover. My skin was perfectly clear before using this, Heartbroken as I wanted to love this like the rest of my glossier products.

This product is not hypoallergenic as claimed. I have rosacea, and my skin turned bright red and started itching the second I put this on. Anyway, if your skin isn't sensitive to frangrances I guess it would work.

I see nothing different when compadre this to other face cleanser. I wish it at least had some fragrance. Customer service was atrocious. They could have cared less about my experience.

I don't normally bother writing reviews ever but this product is the worst cleanser I've ever used and I dont say thay lightly, as I try a lot of brands. I don't normally get acne at all, although I do suffer from mild rosacea (causing light redness). This product has made my face break out like it has n e v e r before. I had my entire forehead covered with bumps, hurtful huge cysts on my chin, whiteheads on my cheeks. The worst part is it has worsened my rosacea to the point where I didn't know was possible. Since I've started using this products I've started to experience intense flare-ups, with my skin turning extremely red and burning to the point where I had to go see my GP because I was so worried as I've never experienced this before. Thankfully my skin has started to clear up as soon as I stopped using this cleanser. I could literally see the difference within two days, my face was finally smooth to touch and went back to its regular color, with no more painful flare-ups happening. I thought maybe it was just me, but my girlfriend tried using it as I felt bad to throw away almost half a bottle of product, and the next day she woke up with a face covered in pimples as well :( So be careful if you have a sensitive, redness/acne-prone, rosacea skin. And apparently if you have normal skin too. So disappointed.
