Usually I'm loyal to Elemis and Eve Lom cleansing balms, but as I'm currently on a fixed budget I tried this as an alternative. I have to say it keeps up with more expensive brands and my skin loves it. A light citrus scent, thin consistency and washes off with a face cloth and warm water to leave my skin feeling clean and nourished. A definite win for those of us with champagne tastes on a lemonade budget.

Been using this for around 6-8 weeks now. I’m very happy with it for my first cleanse. My skin is sensitive and I haven’t had any issues with using this. On days I don’t wear makeup I use it and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and supple. If I am wearing makeup I’ve been following it up with the ceramic slip cleaner from Sunday Riley.

I’m really sad because I think this is a really great product - removed my makeup easily, lovely texture, great price - but after the first use it felt like my skin was on fire! I had such a bad reaction it took my skin over a week to recover to the point that other products wouldn’t make it flare up again. My skin can be a little bit fussy/sensitive but I’ve never had a reaction quite like I had to this product. I think it’s more my skins issue than the product but if you have sensitive skin, this might not be the product for you.

First off - I love oil cleansers, and usually use Go To Fancy Face or Kiehl's midnight recovery. This is the first I've used this format in the tub. It's a bit different, and I suspect it's a bit less economical (ie it's easy to grab too much product). However - this is an excellent format for travel. You could easily transport it into a smaller pot, and take it on the road, without the worry of the oil seeping out of the container. Genius! The product itself is effective for removing my sunscreen and gunk at the end of the day, and it's a great basic product to have on hand. The price point makes it a no brainer.

This is a great balm for a first cleanse. It's a great price point, doesn't dry me out and gets my makeup off. I do need a second cleanse though in order to make sure the balm is all gone. But definitely recommend and would repurchase.
