Glucoside Foaming Cleanser

5 out of 5 stars.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

50-59

Medium

Bought this on early release and am not disappointed. Very straightforward lightly-foaming cleanser, mild "clean" scent, not overly drying. I don't wear makeup so I can't attest to much more other than my skin feels clean without feeling stripped. Definitely a more thorough clean than the squalane cleanser, however - I'll probably go back to that during the harsher winter months. Good value for the money as you need very little to wash your entire face.

Works well on my mature sensitive combination skin, I use the squalane first if removing make up, then finish with this. Would like it in the smaller size too to go in bag please!

I like that it cleans my skin without drying out. It's a good addition to my daily routine. I recommend this product and I will definitely buy it again

I like this cleanser, it works very well on my combination/oily skin. It foams quickly and overall feels great. HOWEVER, there is one negative point that I found to be very surprising - the smell of this product. Without any exaggeration, it smells bad. Normally TO products do not smell, but this one smells in a very strange way. It hits your nose and does not go away until it's completely washed off. I bought two bottles of this, not sure if I will be repurchasing it. Perhaps if I get used to this smell because I like everything else about this product.

really mixed reviews here. my opinion: its good, simple, gentle and non stripping. Thats why I bought it. Downsite: I tend to use more because otherwise I feel like it wouldn't clean my face enough. surspring: it is also a little bit creamy. I do like that. Not super foaming like expected but also ok for me. lastly; I only wear serum, sunscreen and a little bit concealer on my face, so I cant tell if it is effective in removing make up or not. with sunscreen I have no issues.

Even though I am in my 60's, my skin gets very oily at this time of year. This cleanser helps to control the oiliness with drying out my skin. And it partners very well with the squalene cleanser for a thorough double cleanse.

Excessive Dryness

I purchased this cleanser thinking it would really do the trick and help me with maintaining clear skin. Unfortunately I was disappointed. This cleanser DOES NOT FOAM. I’m use to cleansers creating a foam once it’s mixed with water. This cleanser doesn’t do that. It’s more of a creamy consistency. Definitely not what I was looking for. I’ll stick to my Kiehls cleanser.

Breakouts/Acne

I’ve been searching for a gentle cleanser that works for my skin forever. I was so excited when I got this. After 3 weeks of use I gave up. It made me break out worse than ever before :( sadly discontinuing and now have half a bottle still. I love all my ordinary products but I guess the cleansers aren’t for me.

I bought it because it was cheaper than the squalene cleanser that i’ve been using for the past 3 years. it was a mistake and a waste of money because i had to purchase the squalene anyway. this cleanser broke me out and dried my skin so much that my serums felt like they weren’t even working. it also smells terrible

I will keep this product around to use as a makeup remover, but this will not be my main facial cleanser. Background: benzoyl peroxide is the only ingredient that appears to cure and prevent my acne. I gave this a try during a breakout and after a week of washing twice a day- no improvement. One wash with my benzoyl peroxide and my acne is nearly gone. Good gentle product, and good makeup remover, but not the cleanser for me personally. Recommends this product ✘

I’ve used this a few nights now, it’s like smearing body lotion on your face. It feels like there is no soap in it and you’re just smearing around your makeup. After rinsing off my mascara is still on just all over my face. This product would only work if you didn’t wear makeup or use makeup remover before cleansing. Recommends this product ✘

I have tried so many cleansers and none of them seem to be able to control my stubborn acne. This Cleanser left my skin feeling soft and clean and ready for serum and/or moisturiser. However, I bought the 50ml bottle and it arrived 2/3 empty. On top of that, as I use it I found eyelashes in it??? I was quite confused and stopped using it right away. Very concerning. Overall good quality Cleanser but I'm nit sure what went wrong with mine...
