Bought this because of some general dryness on my face and I was curious to give it another try. I love balm type cleansers but have highly reactive skin and am fed up of spending money on products that irritate my skin (my husband gets my rejects ;)). I thought I'd give this another having tried it a few years back but not loving it (my skin was oily then!). I'd say this would be great for anyone with sensitive skin/eyes with normal to dry skin in particular. I love the larger size and I'll definitely repurchase. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I recently bought several of these products. I was looking for a new cleanser and have typically used something with gentle exfoliation both morning and night. When this product came, I was extremely skeptical. However I have just fallen in love with it. It feels so silky, satiny smooth when applied to my face. It doesn't soak in but allows for me to really move it around for several minutes and just luxuriate in the sensation of my fingers Gliding Over My Skin. And Then followed by a nice rinse with lukewarm water and it has perfectly set the tone for everything else to follow. Who would have thought? This is an amazing product. And let me clarify by saying I'm not a twenties something young woman but rather on the precipice of 60 and I have tried it all. And I certainly am not talking economical skin care but rather the things one purchases in a spa , such as Neo Cutis and ZO skin health . I'm used to paying up to $400 for a month of skin care but had heard so much about these products that I thought given their price, I had nothing to lose . I cannot tell you enough just how impressed I am . This is hands down my most favorite. Thank you Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Have been using this cleanser for a while now and love it. I have combination skin and it was really hard to find a cleanser that was gentle and not drying but also left my skin feeling "clean" (washed off excess oil and was effective on makeup). I'm traditionally a foaming cleanser kinda gal but I thought I'd give this a go as I'm getting older and my skin is starting to show signs of aging, foaming cleansers can feel quite stripping. Although it's not the first cream cleanser I've tried (didn't really enjoy the other ones and always went back to foaming before the bottle was even finished) it will be the last one I try.... in a good way. I love this cleanser. It removes my makeup satisfactorily. I normally need a second pass if I'm using waterproof mascara but I do use a face washcloth to take the product off with warm water at the end of the day so I think that helps with makeup removal. In the shower in the morning it's perfect for keeping my skin feeling soft and ready for the rest of my skin regime. I don't have to use very much, a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this cleanser and don't believe I'll switch back to foaming any time soon. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I’m not sure if I’m using it wrong, but it never really felt like it cleaned my face. I always had to scrub with a face cloth to get my face to feel clean after using this. But scrubbing irritates me face. After a few months of using this (along with the anhydrous salicylic acid) I noticed more inflamed breakouts and congestion such as blackheads and whiteheads. I followed directions. Used it on a dry face. Rubbed the cleanser between my hands before applying. I would rub the cleaner until it became clear in colour, but after reading more reviews here, I wonder if I didn’t rub the cleanser in my hands enough. Recently I started using it again and I am rubbing it more vigorously between my hands first. I do notice that the cleanser feels oilier the more I rub, and the oilier I feels before applying, the better it seems to cleanse my face. I’ll update my review if it doesn’t break me out with this time.

Disclaimer I have always used face wash or foaming cleanser as I like my skin to feel clean. I'm new to anything oily and frankly I don't get this at all! I massage it in and then rinse off but my hands and face are still coated with oil. It might remove make up but my face it now very oily so to remove that I need an emulsifying face wash to remove that which adds an unnecessary step. What a shame. I don't get how people love this so much. I wish they'd make a proper face wash! Recommends this product ✘

So I bought this cleanser and have been using it RELIGIOUSLY because I know that consistency is key with skin care… my skin feels amazing after I use it but I’m finding that not even halfway through the day my skin looks like I have gone my entire life without washing it. My skin will look SO OILY and greasy. Perhaps the ordinary can give me some tips or offer a different product to use instead… I’ll walk into the bathroom halfway through my day and feel so embarrassed about how oily my skin looks… a problem I did not have before switching to products from the ordinary. I don’t want to give up hope though so I’m pushing through… Recommends this product ✘

I bought this a few weeks ago along with the moisturizer, matrixyl and niacinamide as my skin is acne prone. I normally used a Garnier cleanser which is cheap and simple and does tge trick but I felt like spoiling myself with some ‘luxury’ products and take my skincare to the next level. I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY BREAKOUTS IN MY LIFE! The so called cleanser clogged my pores and is oily to the point you could almost use it for deep frying chips. Recommends this product ✘
