Squalane Cleanser

5 out of 5 stars.

Pigmentation

Deep

When doing skin care its a regimen that needs to be done day, night, and sometimes even evening. I have been using this product only nightly for the past 3 weeks and this product is chefs kiss. This product has done its job of being a cleanser. I use this product to clean my face from all makeup, oil, and dirt, throughout the day. It gives me a clean base to then use my other products I purchased to combat any of my other problems. Love this brand and will stick with this regimen. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Enlarged Pores

I have oily/combo sensitive acne prone skin and this is a dream. Cleans and removes makeup well (I do use a washcloth) and makes my skin feel refreshed. Doesn’t leave it oily at all but just healthy and hydrated looking. May be my favorite cleanser ever! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I got this for Christmas in The Bright Set and wow😍 I would have never thought to use a cleanser that goes from a cream to then an oily/gel like substance. It feels amazing on the skin and feels like I’m getting a deep cleanse. Using this and the rest of the set gave instant results, IN LOVE👏🏻 Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Squalane Cleanser

Breakouts/Acne

I use this in the mornings because my skin tends to get a bit oily overnight and it’s nice and gentle. It definitely doesn’t have the “stripping” effect I was used to from other cleansers and to be honest I don’t think it would be quite strong enough to deal with product buildup and makeup residue in the evenings, but that’s not what I use it for so I can’t complain. I have acne prone skin and it’s never broken me out.

The Ordinary

Squalane Cleanser

Enlarged Pores

I bought this product about 2 months ago and my skin has never been better. I have replaced ALL my salicylic and acne focused cleansers with this. Definitely recommend this for anyone with skin that is dry and acne prone. Very gentle and takes makeup off super good too! Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Glycolipid Cream Cleanser

2 out of 5 stars.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

I really like how my skin feels after this, however there are a couple of issues that will stop me using it which is a shame.I don’t think it removes make-up anywhere near as well as the squalene cleanser. And, most annoyingly; it causes subsequent items in my regimen to pil on my skin - has anyone else found this? My regimen is the same as before bar the cleanser so I know it must be that. I’ve been ‘extra’ rinsing and it still happens and it’s putting me off using.

Excessive Dryness

Don't love the texture and actually find the smell off-putting. Find it strips my skin too much. I love the squalane cleanser and was expecting a similar level of gentleness, but this glycolipid one leaves my skin feeling tight and visibly drier. It does not properly clean off my non-waterproof mascara, which is one of the only makeup products I wear most days.

Very Fair

I still get hormonal acne from time to time but since switching to this cleanser I’ve had constant huge and painful pimples. I went back to my regular cleanser and they started going away. Unfortunately not for me

Enlarged Pores

This item is just okay. It didn't blow me away. It is much more gentle than anticipated. It does not remove make up at all with water, and even with a face cloth it requires being used twice. I use it as part of a triple cleansing routine now just to get rid of it. I would only recommend using this product if you have just woken up (after cleansing your face at night), and even then it does not feel as though it removes sweat or impurities in the crevices of your nose. I won't be re-buying the product. The feel is silky and nice, but it doesn't cut it for a cleanser. It was a flop for me. I thought about rating it 1 star but I thought that was a little harsh as the packaging is nice, the feel and consistency is nice, and washing your face with it feels nice but overall it has had no results and does not really do much for your skin.

Save yr money bc this cleanser honestly is aweful bc its very stripping. Im a makeup artist and I had an event so I had thought I'd try this the week prior. Big mistake my skin was badly striped and severely red. Luckily I went to a dermatologist and he saved my skin just in time for my event. I love all other products the ordinary has. Please try the squalene cleanser. Much better.

This product made my skin break out and stripped it. My skin went from beautiful to aweful. It's more of a cleanser that should only be used to exfoliate. It messed my skin up bc it doesn't say that on it. Look at the ingredients.
