Bought this because of some general dryness on my face and I was curious to give it another try. I love balm type cleansers but have highly reactive skin and am fed up of spending money on products that irritate my skin (my husband gets my rejects ;)). I thought I'd give this another having tried it a few years back but not loving it (my skin was oily then!). I'd say this would be great for anyone with sensitive skin/eyes with normal to dry skin in particular. I love the larger size and I'll definitely repurchase. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I recently bought several of these products. I was looking for a new cleanser and have typically used something with gentle exfoliation both morning and night. When this product came, I was extremely skeptical. However I have just fallen in love with it. It feels so silky, satiny smooth when applied to my face. It doesn't soak in but allows for me to really move it around for several minutes and just luxuriate in the sensation of my fingers Gliding Over My Skin. And Then followed by a nice rinse with lukewarm water and it has perfectly set the tone for everything else to follow. Who would have thought? This is an amazing product. And let me clarify by saying I'm not a twenties something young woman but rather on the precipice of 60 and I have tried it all. And I certainly am not talking economical skin care but rather the things one purchases in a spa , such as Neo Cutis and ZO skin health . I'm used to paying up to $400 for a month of skin care but had heard so much about these products that I thought given their price, I had nothing to lose . I have combination skin and it was really hard to find a cleanser that was gentle and not drying but also left my skin feeling "clean" (washed off excess oil and was effective on makeup). I'm traditionally a foaming cleanser kinda gal but I thought I'd give this a go as I'm getting older and my skin is starting to show signs of aging, foaming cleansers can feel quite stripping. Although it's not the first cream cleanser I've tried (didn't really enjoy the other ones and always went back to foaming before the bottle was even finished) it will be the last one I try.... in a good way. I love this cleanser. It removes my makeup satisfactorily. I normally need a second pass if I'm using waterproof mascara but I do use a face washcloth to take the product off with warm water at the end of the day so I think that helps with makeup removal. In the shower in the morning it's perfect for keeping my skin feeling soft and ready for the rest of my skin regime. I don't have to use very much, a little goes a long way. I highly recommend this cleanser and don't believe I'll switch back to foaming any time soon. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

I really like how my skin feels after this, however there are a couple of issues that will stop me using it which is a shame.I don’t think it removes make-up anywhere near as well as the squalene cleanser. And, most annoyingly; it causes subsequent items in my regimen to pil on my skin - has anyone else found this? My regimen is the same as before bar the cleanser so I know it must be that. I’ve been ‘extra’ rinsing and it still happens and it’s putting me off using.

Don't love the texture and actually find the smell off-putting. Find it strips my skin too much. I love the squalane cleanser and was expecting a similar level of gentleness, but this glycolipid one leaves my skin feeling tight and visibly drier. It does not properly clean off my non-waterproof mascara, which is one of the only makeup products I wear most days.

I still get hormonal acne from time to time but since switching to this cleanser I’ve had constant huge and painful pimples. I went back to my regular cleanser and they started going away. Unfortunately not for me

This item is just okay. It didn't blow me away. It is much more gentle than anticipated. It does not remove make up at all with water, and even with a face cloth it requires being used twice. I use it as part of a triple cleansing routine now just to get rid of it. I would only recommend using this product if you have just woken up (after cleansing your face at night), and even then it does not feel as though it removes sweat or impurities in the crevices of your nose. I won't be re-buying the product. The feel is silky and nice, but it doesn't cut it for a cleanser. It was a flop for me. I thought about rating it 1 star but I thought that was a little harsh as the packaging is nice, the feel and consistency is nice, and washing your face with it feels nice but overall it has had no results and does not really do much for your skin.

Save yr money bc this cleanser honestly is aweful bc its very stripping. Im a makeup artist and I had an event so I had thought I'd try this the week prior. Big mistake my skin was badly striped and severely red. Luckily I went to a dermatologist and he saved my skin just in time for my event. I love all other products the ordinary has. Please try the squalene cleanser. Much better.

This product made my skin break out and stripped it. My skin went from beautiful to aweful. It's more of a cleanser that should only be used to exfoliate. It messed my skin up bc it doesn't say that on it. Look at the ingredients.
