Enlarged Pores
Suffering from really oily/combination skin, I've only had a few good skin days throughout my teen/make up wearing years. I've tried the majority of skin care brands - Kiehls, Clinique, Estée Lauder to which all have never made my skin settle or feel clean they just gave me that meh feeling.. having read reviews about Clarins oily/combination range to which I was reading nothing but good reviews- although I first thought it was a little pricey (with this cleanser, the iris toning lotion and the daily energising cream) but after using the three products together the smell of all of these is beyond amazing I never want to stop rubbing it into my skin!! And the results well you need to see for yourself- no word of a lie you can see the results the morning after! The morning I woke up I looked at my skin and actually smiled how amazing and radiant it looked- my nose is what bothers me the most because with oily skin you get severely clogged pores and blackheads to which I've had forever, this range has not only made me nose clear up to the point the blackheads are hardly noticeable I am now confident enough to wear no makeup just the moisturiser to work. I no longer have to see oil seeping from my nose, forehead and chin. I'm 21 so it's obvious I'm going to get the odd spot now and then but seriously this range has calmed my skin down so much it's unbelievable. I can not thank Clarins enough for this range even my twin sister who suffers the same has now started the use it and has said how radiant and clean her skin is looking- if you suffer from oily spot prone skin do not hesitate to invest in Clarins oily range you won't find better. It's now going to be my skin care for life!!

Excessive Dryness
I have only been using this product about 10 days as I am new to Clarins, but I absolutely love it! First time I used it I put a decent amount (size of a malteaser) and it was far too much. I loved it the first time I used it, my face felt squeaky clean, and was super smooth. I have oily skin, but this leaves my face really matte, but also looking healthy without drying out. I now know how much to use (size of a pea, seriously) so as far as value for money goes, this will last me months as it lathers like I have never seen a cleanser lather before.Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has oily/combination skin who prefers to cleanse with water instead of the cleansing milk (although Clarins cleansing milk is great as a make up remover on a cotton wool pad!)

Breakouts/Acne
For years I have used face-wipes, mainly down to convenience and how quickly they did the job. Since reaching my mid twenties my skin has become oily and full of blemishes. No face-wipes would work and some made the problem worse. After speaking to my beautician she advised me it could be the face-wipes causing the problem and insisted that I switched to a cleanser/toner routine. As I already used Clarins facial oil I knew they were a brand I could trust and my skin reacted well to their treatments. The first couple of days of use I did get a few more break outs, again I spoke to my beautician and she told me it will get worse before it gets better as the skin is cleansing itself. She was right. Within a week to 10 days my skin had completely cleared up and my oily skin is under control. If I do get spots now they are tiny and never inflamed or infected. It really was a revelation for my skin and worth every penny. I'm now investing in serums and moisturisers!

Breakouts/Acne
Having used this cleanser for over a month now I will sadly not be using it again. I was recommended this product for my oily skin by a clarins counter. In no was has it helped my oily skin. After cleansing I'm left with tight skin which thankfully my toner and moisturizer sorts out but also I have had a major breakout of spots on my forehead. If you do have oily skin I would recommend going for a very light cleanser and not one that says targets oily skin as I think these just strip the skin.

Sensitivity
I have been using the Tamarind gentle foaming cleanser for years and years - having extremely sensitive, oily skin, it was perfect. This new replacement is awful - the product feels slimy and my skin doesn't feel clean! It's still called gentle foaming cleanser but doesn't foam at all! It really is so disappointing. I bought 2 of the new version without realising it had changed and now I'm stuck with them. The only half-way good thing is the smell! So after years of using Clarins cleanser, I'm going to have to look elsewhere :-(
