I bought this in lieu of the luxurious cleansing balm from the same brand that has been out of stock for a long while (cry emoji) SO I decided to pick this one from its features and texture. My expectation was not that high comparing to the price that much cheaper than Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. But what I did have is I wanted it to be my everyday cleansing balm. I've been using for 3 weeks, I'd recommend for anyone who has sensitive/acne prone skin like me, do not use this for a daily cleansing. Yes, it is gentle acid but still contains exfoliation property. I felt my skin was a bit irritated in the first night. A part from that stingy feeling, the butter works really good on removing on dirt and waterproof sunscreen. Leaves my skin very soft (not as soft as the Pro-Collagen one tho). Texture is really nice which is the best part and I really enjoy it. Now I'm using this one 2-3 time a week with other cleansing oil/balm. I would not continue once I finish this jar.

I have been really pleased with the calming spa scent and hydrating features of this product. If I leave it on for a minute and then remove it, my skin is super hydrated and soft. I don't love that you have to apply this to dry skin, because I want to use it as the second step in the cleansing. I also find the cap a little tricky to open sometimes. I would say this cleans your face 80%, but not fully.

Menopause has arrived and with it deep hormonal acne on my chin and temples. Purchased this in conjunction with the other products in Caroline Hirons’ Menopause box - thank God for her. Huge difference in my skin. This feels amazing on application and my skin is loving it, I apply as a mask a couple of times a week. There is a definite improvement in the texture and appearance of my skin, I will be repurchasing.

I started using this about 1 month ago and felt the difference immediately. It cleans my face very well but not stripping it dry. Love the smell and texture. My skin was able to absorb my serum and treatment better after cleansing. I can also see my skin improving.

This cleanser is beautiful. Rich, thick and creamy. Lathers well and leaves my skin feeling very clean and fresh. The scent is divine, reminds me of apricots. Highly recommend this cleanser!

I really wanted to love this balm, but the overpowering smell was horrible, not to mention BAD for skin. And I honestly don’t think it is very good at cleansing either. There are hundreds of other cleansers/balms that are way better than this one at a fraction of the cost.

I really wanted to love this product, but unfortunately it does not live up to the hype for me. It is very strongly fragranced and has resulted in breakouts for my skin (even with a double cleanse and using my Foreo - it was the only new product introduced into my routine). I will be sticking with my usual cleansing oil.
