I'd seen ads for this cleanser for a while & wanted to try it but never did. I'm in my mid-40s and the models in the ads always look so young, I thought it probably wouldn't be good for my ageing skin. I was wrong. I love this stuff. Ordered my second bottle before I was even close to running out. I also decided to try a few other products and they have all been fabulous!! But the Milky Jelly Cleanser is my #1 fave followed closely by the Balm DotCom!

Does not dry out my skin, with aging skin that's very important to me. Leaves my face feeling clean without needing to scrub.

I love this cleaner! I've always been very into skincare and product, so I've tried literally hundreds of different cleaners- this is the end of the road, holy grail perfect cleanser for me. Skincare has many subjective elements, but the universal objective elements are all met here-my skin is refreshed and supple in the morning, and thoroughly cleansed and soft at night (including makeup removal). I'm 52, usually wear a good amount of slap on my face, and have oily skin that is starting to show some fine lines and sun damage. Subjectively, I really love the texture of this product (it's a milky jelly!!) And the light fragrance is relaxing and refreshing. It's a terrific price point for a product that gets the job done with a luxurious feel, and I never want to be without it again!!

I really love this cleanser. Pros: *Smells nice and the scent isn't overpowering *After about 2 weeks of use my skin tone has evened out and I have a lot less redness *Fine lines on my skin are much less visible *Removes my normal makeup great (Tinted moisturizer, mineral powder, mascara, highlighter, lipstick) *Can be used on a wet or dry skin Cons: *Doesn't remove heavy makeup with as effortlessly but no big deal if you're not packing on full coverage foundation and waterproof eyeliner.

Sun Damage
Age 25-30
Had a mini vacation in mid-August where I wasn't wearing anyyy sunscreen and by the end of it, my skin was a disaster!! I knew I needed to get into sun protection so I bought the Invisible Shield (which is amazing by the way) - with the purchase, I got a sample of the jelly cleanser. omg..literally JUST using the sample my skin was soooo much better. It was sooo gentle that all I can think was that this was healing my skin from all the damage (coupled with the sunblock at least). I ended up ordering the full size one and it has been my savior. I've worn make up every single day for the past four years but for the past 3-4 weeks literally almost none at all. Every time I look at my skin, I'm almost a little shocked. Love this product. PS: also ended up getting the cloud paint which is SO cute, and now considering the highlight. Totally becoming a glossier girl!!

Excessive Dryness
found this to be super drying, even using just 1-2 times a week my skin would be flaky afterward. I don’t usually have dry skin so was surprised. I probably would not reccomend or purchase again.

Excessive Dryness
I typically don’t have sensitive skin, rarely ever have a bad reaction to new products but this was way too harsh. Dried my skin out after only one use, haven’t used the product in a week and my skin is still recovering in several dry patches. Caused my face to be really itchy and sting in reaction to my normal products.

So, after experimenting for several months, this product actually increased my acne dramatically. I maybe get one small pimple during my period, but I love a squeaky clean feeling face and this cleanser gave that feeling after. I didn't mind the medicinal smell, and I liked the tacky feeling after. But apparently some skin doesn't like niacinamide and I think that's me. Bummer.

I had to stop using the Milky Jelly Cleanser because I developed an allergic reaction to rosewater - I wish brands in general would stop using this ingredient in so many skincare products, but I digress. Initially, I was very excited to try out Cleanser Concentrate, but it seems that my skin does not agree with Glossier's cleanser formulas. My skin type is combination, but also sensitive and acne prone, and this product would always make my skin beet red, and I was guaranteed a few new breakouts the next day. This cleanser is also not as soothing as the claims say it is, and I don't think it does a good job of maintaining skins moisture either. The end result is quite drying, which is to be expected for exfoliating acids of this nature, but this is advertised as a more gentle variant, but there wasn't much difference between this, and other strong chemical exfoliators that I've tried. Overall, I'm disappointed. If the G team do plan to expand their range of cleansers, please consider a cleansing oil or balm - preferably without rosewater of any kind.

I really love a lot of glossier and I’ve tried most of their products. But this seems to irritate my skin and I don’t know if my skin is sensitive to it or it’s the product it’s self but I don’t think you should get it if you think your skin is sensitive. It does feel nice right after but every time I try to use it again it makes me break out.

I am the biggest Glossier fan ever and so sad that this product just has not worked for me. My acne has been under control for a long time now, with the occasional hormonal mini outbreak. Since using this as my main cleanser for around a month, my acne has been horrendous. My chin and hairline by my cheeks is the worst. I feel so relieved reading some of the comments here to know how to hopefully change this. I’ve purchased some old products and already seeing a difference. Will continue to love Glossier but this product sadly just isn’t for me!
