i bought this a few weeks ago and let me tell you it is a game-changer. I didn't want to pay a ridiculous price for a product that would do the same as something like this would, but also I've tried so many things at this price point and they weren't able to break down my waterproof mascara. This could. My skin is brighter and was literally glowing even after the first use. I always double-cleanse, so I haven't had issues with any leftover oiliness like some of the other reviews mention. I always have a couple of allergies, the one I was most worried about being perfume. I had absolutely no issues. Love, love, LOVE this product!

Feels silky going on which is lovely, doesn’t dry my skin at all which is also a nice change, just really nice to use & I rarely use cleansers.

I’ve been auditioning new balm cleaners as the format really works for my combination/aging skin. Having been a devotee of Eve Lom for years, I was beginning to find the cost prohibitive for twice daily use. Resultant, I’ve been experimenting with the various cleansing balms on the market and gave this one a spin - it’s highly effective. My makeup melts off with minimal rubbing, and emulsification is pretty much immediate. It’s got a luxe feel, and doesn’t leave an oily residue nor log my large-ish pores. The scent is negligible, unlike Eve Lom, and the cost, at $19 is amazing value - there’s a lot of product in the container and you really don’t need to use much to get the job done. I’ve been able to dispense with the muslin cloths to remove the product (eg Eve Lom) and instead use a set of dedicated face only facecloths which work brilliantly to remove any product residue as well as exfoliate. I like to switch things around fairly regularly with my skincare but can see this balm being a staple in my routine.

Just bought this but I'm really enjoying it so far, instantly melts on my hands and takes all of my makeup that my micellar water doesn't get.

It’s okay, it made me break out severely and I’m not confident it removes all my makeup.

I’m on my 2nd pot. It takes make up and spf off very well. It has a lovely texture. It’s extremely well priced compared to other cleansing balms. The only thing I might change is add a hint of fragrance (there is none) but that’s just personal preference!
