The Ordinary

Glucoside Foaming Cleanser

5 out of 5 stars.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

50-59

Light

I have been using The Ordinary's products for years and even though this is a recent addition to there collection I really like using it as a second cleanse with The Ordinary's Squalane cleanser at night. So good at removing all traces of daily grime, leaves my skin feeling super clean, but not dehydrated. Perfect prep for the next step in my regime. Love it!!!***

Rosacea

Fair

This is my new favorite cleanser. The best I have found in years for my very sensitive skin. I have rosacea and this actually cleans my skin without irritation. Is fragrance free but has a pleasant smell.

I absolutely love this cleanser. It really cleans my skin and pores. I wash my face once in the morning and once before I go to bed at night. I follow the pm wash witth Gycolic acid solution and it has changed my life. My skin is vibrant, clean, huge reduction in clogged pores and feels great!

Enlarged Pores

I bought this cleanser as the part of the clear set and I LOVE IT! It’s a nice gel consistency which foams up really nicely. Great for second cleanse. It doesn’t dry out my skin and it’s overall PERFECT! I just bought another one. And a big plus with the ordinary for me is that it’s cruelty free.

The Ordinary

Glucoside Foaming Cleanser

Excessive Dryness

Very Fair

Gently cleanses my skin without stripping it of moisture or leaving residue, and a little goes a long way.

The Ordinary

Squalane Cleanser

Excessive Oiliness

I was apprehensive when I saw this claimed to remove makeup and cleanse. The first time I used this I failed to follow directions and it didn’t work so well but the second time I followed them word for word and it worked like a dream! Took off everything including my super tacky hard to remove temp lash extension glue. Huge plus that it left my combination skin soft, not oily or stripped. Pleasantly surprised & will buy again in the future. Recommends this product ✔ Yes

Glycolipid Cream Cleanser

2 out of 5 stars.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

I really like how my skin feels after this, however there are a couple of issues that will stop me using it which is a shame.I don’t think it removes make-up anywhere near as well as the squalene cleanser. And, most annoyingly; it causes subsequent items in my regimen to pil on my skin - has anyone else found this? My regimen is the same as before bar the cleanser so I know it must be that. I’ve been ‘extra’ rinsing and it still happens and it’s putting me off using.

Glycolipid Cream Cleanser

Excessive Dryness

Don't love the texture and actually find the smell off-putting. Find it strips my skin too much. I love the squalane cleanser and was expecting a similar level of gentleness, but this glycolipid one leaves my skin feeling tight and visibly drier. It does not properly clean off my non-waterproof mascara, which is one of the only makeup products I wear most days.

Breakouts/Acne

Very Fair

I still get hormonal acne from time to time but since switching to this cleanser I’ve had constant huge and painful pimples. I went back to my regular cleanser and they started going away. Unfortunately not for me

This item is just okay. It didn't blow me away. It is much more gentle than anticipated. It does not remove make up at all with water, and even with a face cloth it requires being used twice. I use it as part of a triple cleansing routine now just to get rid of it. I would only recommend using this product if you have just woken up (after cleansing your face at night), and even then it does not feel as though it removes sweat or impurities in the crevices of your nose. I won't be re-buying the product. The feel is silky and nice, but it doesn't cut it for a cleanser. It was a flop for me. I thought about rating it 1 star but I thought that was a little harsh as the packaging is nice, the feel and consistency is nice, and washing your face with it feels nice but overall it has had no results and does not really do much for your skin.

Save yr money bc this cleanser honestly is aweful bc its very stripping. Im a makeup artist and I had an event so I had thought I'd try this the week prior. Big mistake my skin was badly striped and severely red. Luckily I went to a dermatologist and he saved my skin just in time for my event. I love all other products the ordinary has. Please try the squalene cleanser. Much better.

This product made my skin break out and stripped it. My skin went from beautiful to aweful. It's more of a cleanser that should only be used to exfoliate. It messed my skin up bc it doesn't say that on it. Look at the ingredients.
